Love the coffee, almond croissants and chocolate croissants. Quick and friendly service. They have a very nice selection of pastry, breads and sandwiches. I'm addicted to the almond croissants.
Awesome pastries, good coffee, friendly service – Beny's Delice is my go to whether for a quick latte on the go or a mellow afternoon enjoying hot/iced drinks and snacking on one of their french pastries. The best part is that their menu is so varied for such a tiny place and their service is always courteous and friendly.
Note – they recently moved to Fulton Street which I'm glad about because although they are a little further away from me, more of the world needs to see what Beny's has to offer!
This place was so small that they only had counter seat, no regular sit-down type of table. Their selection was not huge either. Fruit tart, soup/sandwich and some coffee drink were all they have. We were being attracted by the fruit tart instantaneously so went with the mixed berry fruit tart. The crust was very crunchy while the inside lemon custard was a bit too sweet – actually a good combo with the sour berry. However the strawberry that they used was frozen as opposed to fresh, disappointed!
Cards were only accepted for 20 dollar minimum.
On a depressing stretch of Fulton St, Beny's is a pleasurable distraction.
After a morning fiasco at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, I was headed to the G train to get to work. As I was walking, I realized I had not had my morning caffeine addiction. Well, it was no wonder I was cranky. It was nice to be greeted by cute, hipster girls. That will also make me less cranky.
This French patisserie really helped to brighten my day. I mean, it couldn't get worse, so everything was going to have to go up.
They have two pastry cases: one filled with savory snacks like quiches, including mini quiches for 75 cents a piece, croissants, sandwiches. The other case was a dessert case. Wow oh wow. I saw cheesecakes, macarons, creme brulee, etc. But since my serotonin level needed a boost, I opted to try the chocolate pot of creme. Yes, that's right. I am eating chocolate first thing in the morning. Don't judge me.
I also ordered up an iced coffee to wash down the pot of creme. The chocolate was amazing. The coffee could use some work, so that's why this place only gets 3 stars.
But I am coming back to have more chocolate. I am Countess Cocoa. I am in a Sesame Street kind of mood. The word of the day: Beny's. Try it.
A little pricey. Tried two different chocolate desserts and was not wowed. I have a sweet tooth and if something doesn't make me feel like slapping my mama then I am not impressed. Will not return because i could get a good sugar fix for less elsewhere.
I get these croissants at Spices and Tease and they are glorious! Especially after being warmed up a bit.
When I visited I was greeted by very friendly staff. My iced latte was perfect. This place is in a good location for me and it's adorable inside. I will be going back to try some of the edibles.
Lovely mini quiches! Fantastic coffee! Lovely bread pudding!
The cafe is cute. There are bar stools along the wall with wall lined shelves to eat off of. It's more of a spot to grab and go rather than stay in and eat. Quaint and trendy.
They have lovely pastries and savory sandwhiches also. The quiches are probably the best things here. If it wasnt for the shotty customer service, this place would have gotten 5 stars from me.
