Daily Waffle

“The place itself is like the front section of a furniture store and looks very makeshift but who cares?”

“But upon walking in and being greeted by 2 amazing owners, Hank & Anna, you're in Waffle Heaven!”

“I was recommended by Anna to try the Green Tea latte, which was invigorating for a sleepyhead like me.”

  1. The food's great, the prices are great & the owners are great!  What else could you ask for?
I never would have found this place if it weren't for all you yelpers.  I pretty much live my life according to Yelp …. Rarely disappoints .
Okay… 5 stars for what it is.  A small, clean, delicious & friendly storefront.
I chatted with the owners Hank & Anna.  They're only open 9 months but they're certainly got a great rep going on.  Ya know… It's the kind of place that you just want to see succeed.
I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!!

  2. Cheap and tasty waffles from what looks like a small family owned business.  I enjoyed my Hawaiian waffle that was topped with coconut shavings, coconut syrup, and macadamia nuts.  Plain waffles are $2 and the creative ones range from $4-7 each.

Daily Waffle is tucked away near Flushing High School in an empty but brightly lit furniture store.  If my friend hadn't taken me here, I wouldn't have known this shop existed!  I felt like I was welcomed into someone's new dining room before they actually moved in.  I can't wait to see what they do with this space!

  3. I give 4.5 stars to this little café but rounded up cuz the owners were just so nice!! (you usually don't get such nice customer service in flushing haha) The waffles here are very good. So fresh and nice and crispy. Honestly, it's one of the better waffles I've had compared to many well known brunch places. We had their house special which is fried chicken with some kind of sauce on the side on top of waffle. The chicken was also crispy and fresh. We also had the banana and nutella waffle which you can't go wrong with. They were both great. The milk tea here was lacking a little flavor, but It was more on the homemade style. The café is still a little run down with not the best interior design, but the food speaks for itself and the owners are very welcoming and hospitable. I would definitely come back again to try some of their other savory waffles.

  4. Great customer service and the guy behind the counter was very helpful with suggestions and open to making additions to our orders! $5 or so for a single waffle, but it was delicious so I didn't mind! We had the breakfast waffle with fruit and while cream and an Oreo waffle with a scoop of Hershey's vanilla ice cream on it-would return for this! Storefront kinda difficult to find or identify but once u do, it's worth it.

  5. Getting a waffle here is an amazing way to start your day. The Daily Waffle is a low-key, hole-in-the-wall place, with a small space, wooden chairs and tables, and fluorescent lighting, and its food and beverage selection is second to none.

I ordered the fruit waffle, which was topped with nutella, banana and strawberry slices, blueberries, whipped cream, and fudge: absolutely stellar. The waffle itself was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The waffle isn't huge: it's about twice the size of an index card. I didn't mind that, though, because eating an enormous waffle would've weighed my stomach down.

I also got a honey lemon tea (iced), which was wonderfully sweet with orange rinds sitting in the bottom of my cup, which added a kick of taste to the drink.

If I'm in the area and want something sweet to eat, I'll consider coming to Daily Waffle for sure!

  6. Came for a second visit and all thats changed is , they've added more dishes to the menu .

Still great waffles and bubble tea but they've added crepes,  try the chinese crepe , its nice and spicy and delicious , Also now there is a Hershey's ice cream shop in the back .

Hank & Anna keep busting out great dishes and i can't wait to see what they come up with next .

    You two ROCK !!

Ps . Soon as i walked in they remembered my name lol , love this place to pieces!!

  7. Stopped here one early afternoon on a Sunday when I was craving waffles.  The owners; husband and wife are super awesome!  They explained the entire menu and their vision and how they ended up making waffles.  I appreciated the intimacy of the place.  Its a no frills old furniture store, but they are slowly making it into something.  Hidden gem if you ask me.  Waffles were amazing!  light and just the right amount of sweetness.  I had the hawaiian one with toasted coconut!  so good!

  8. If waffles are your thing then you have to come and give Daily Waffle a try! I'm so glad I gave into temptation and decided to drive all the way to Flushing and eat myself into a Waffle coma. The place may not be a legit restaurant with silverware or anything of that nature but they sure know how to make amazing waffles in dozens of variations.

Parking was hard to find considering the surrounding area is pretty over populated but I was determined to fine a spot so it took some driving around. I walked a block or two to get to Daily Waffle and honestly it didn't really stand out at first but it's a few doors down from the Dunkin Donuts if that helps. It's a small little shop with few seating and it's connected to a deli that's located next door. They share the same landlord so Daily Waffle doesn't sell any bottled drinks as a stipulation of their contract.

We looked at the menu board. We were greeted by the nice couple who own the spot– Hank & Ana (I believe) and they told us to take as much time. Of course I was tempted by at least half of the menu and who am I to deny myself the right to enjoy everything my heart desires lol. We ordered the house special chicken and waffle, two waffle dogs(one spicy and one plain), the breakfast waffle, a waffle with chocolate syrup and marshmallows. Everything was to die forrrr -literally put me into a food coma but I swear it was worth every bite.

They make every waffle to order so we had to wait a few minutes but it was worth it. The food comes out on paper plates with plastic utensils but so what. Whatever they lack in that aspect they make up for it in flavor and presentation. Uh-maze-ing! I also ordered the Taro bubble tea by recommendation and for my first try it was a pleasant surprise.

Daily Waffle also gives out a rewards card and for the amount of food I ordered I'm only 3 (out of 10) waffles away from getting one waffle free 🙂 They won me over with the hospitality and the food. I'm willing to overlook everything else because that's what matters most to me and I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this spot to anyone else.
