I have had delivery from here twice. The first time was very good, great salad – fresh ingredients – great french fries. The second time a week later – awful. Total waste of money. Uncooked french fries and worthless throw away salad. Not like two different chefs, more like two different businesses. I would be insane to ever give these fools a third chance, unless it was free.
Place is awesome. Ordered a spicy special hero at 1am. Got to my door 30 min later. Cost only $6. This place delivers 24/7. Great toasted sandwich with turkey cheese lettuce and tomatoes. Perfect drunk food. Gotta actually visit the place some time.
There are two types of eateries in this city with which I have the most vicious love-hate relationship.
Pizza shops and delis.
This place does not sell pizza.
New York is home to the best and worst delis in this country. What is so maddeningly frustrating is that outside of the famous ones, you never know which is which. Yelp is somewhat helpful, but let's be honest. Trying to rate and review every deli in this city would be like trying to count the number of men who stick around for brunch after a one night stand. It's pointless, because you know in 3 months, most of them will have disappeared forever.
That being said, I will not waste too much time on this one.
Ordered from here 2 nights in a row. Second night, my food took 2 and 1/2 hours. Delivery guy just left my shit with the security guard at the front desk. No call, nothing. Guess how many people work here – a few hundred. Thanks, bro. Also, really appreciate the tartar sauce with my hot wings. Does David Chang know about you?

Bad: Chicken parm sammich, hot wings and fries
I would say the food is "mediocre" which, as everyone knows, is worse than "bad" because it implies that it would disappoint your father.
Delivery sucks.
Not cheap enough.
In one year, this place will be:
a. vacant
b. a luxury condo
c. filled with kim chi
d. a crime scene
No complaints here! This is a cheap deli with a standard selection of sandwiches, breakfast foods, and salads. A 5 topping salad is only $5.00, compared to $10+ at those fancy salad bars around here! There's also some groceries and a huge drink cooler. I'll definitely stop here more often for a quick sandwich or salad! Only downside- no seating.
We lost the dominican bodega in the area, which I'd admit blows any cheap eatery in the area away by a long mile, but this place serves decent deli fare. Nothing brave or beyond the boundaries, but dependable and consistent, and on the proper night, that may be all one needs.
