  1. The decor is amazing– The inside makes you feel like you are in the country side.
I come here for the coffee and the fresh bread.
    They make a great Cappuccino.
There is seating inside and you can also order food– I'm not a fan of the sandwiches.
    The staff is very nice.

    Get the bread– Super fluffy!!

  2. Good food. Cute place. Too expensive. Better put off starting that college fund for little David.

  3. First this place is totally out of the way. It's in the middle of a residential side street relatively far from a subway, and that subway is the G. But that's part of the attraction, and it's impressive that they manage to stay in business.

The baked goods are good and the interior is well designed. They put wheelbarrow flowers out front on a nice day, it's well lit, and they have an unpretentious communal table.

Great place for a quick snack.

  4. Bakeri is one of my favorite New York bakeries. The Williamsburg location is so cute I could eat it up. So of course I had to trek it to Greenpoint for their second location. I took the infamous G train up to Greenpoint. The train can be a challenge on the weekend and that is an understatement.

It was a crisp fall day. I got off at Greenpoint Ave. walked up Manahattan Ave to Freeman St. and busted a left. It was very residential. I was worried that I was in the wrong neighborhood. And then I finally saw the light coming through the art nouveau glass doors. There was a vintage blue wagon with little flowers planted in it. I arrived one hour to closing and there was only a few people in the shop. I was awe struck by the gorgeous floral wallpaper from French designer, Nathalie Lété. Incredible! I think I feel on love with it! Is is possible to be in love with wall paper?

Then there's a large rustic communal table and a very nice breakfast bar that overlooks the kitchen. I love the exposed brick, the beautiful treat glass display and the large triangle pointed roof.

I ordered my usual favorite the rosemary salted chocolate chip cookie with hazelnuts, a baby croissant and a polenta biscotti. ( I ate the last two items the next day) Since, it was the end of the day there was not too many savory options. I am excited to come here and enjoy a bowl of soup or a slice of quiche. And of course a slice of their Spanish style "tortilla" and a soy latte.

In the words of Schwarzenegger "I'll be back".

  5. Love this place.
Some of the best Bakeri in greenpoint.
    exterior,interior are truly cute.
We had the hum chees sandwich and macha scone.
    And both were delicious.
I can't wait to come back.
