I came in for a sandwich one day and made some conversation. It was a very good sandwich.
I came in the next day for the same thing…they remembered me. After the third time, I became famous. Now i'm known for my 1:52pm entrance; I don't even have to say a word anymore. My sandwich just appears.
As soon as I walk in I get a nice "Heyyy Tyler!" from no less than three people that work here. Customers are confused – Tyler who? Should we know him? I don't know…maybe?
The "Tyler" is roast beef on a roll, spicy mustard on both sides, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle on the side. Best $5.99 sandwich around. I'm not kidding, if you went in and asked for "the sandwich Tyler gets" most people that work there would know exactly what you are talking about.
There are a lot of other sandwich options, pastas, bowls, hot food…plus normal deli/market type things. Also beer!
It's a block from my office, and is a quick in and out for a guaranteed consistently delicious sandwich. In the land where $10 is the standard price to pay for a small, assembly line carb circle with "meats" – it's nice to know places like this exist.
