  1. No thanks. I came here and got a Cuban – my family member also got a Cuban. He asked for mayo. I just said "everything it comes with is fine." I got a completely dry sandwich – no mustard, mayo, nothing.

The sandwich wasn't very good and I was not impressed. My family member got very sick from his meal…so I guess the mayo was rancid. Good thing my sandwich was dry, I guess.

I won't be back. There are plenty of other restaurants to try in the area.

  2. This is EXACTLY what I want out of my Queens takeout – tasty, quick, and affordable. I ordered the chicken burger, which was just what I needed for a Friday night. The chicken was well-seasoned, but still juicy, and paired well with the melted jack and some of the tangiest (in a good way) chipotle mayo I've had in a while. Better still were the fries, still crispy even after their trip from the restaurant to the apartment. (I really appreciated they put the mayo on the side, so you could use it for both the burger and the fries.) And this call out to less than $10…with tip. By no means mind-blowing, but Cafe 52 will certainly more than do the trick for an empty stomach.

  3. it's a little neighborhood dinner that you can go and have a dinner if you are not in a mood to cook. Prices are OK , Service is attentive, Food is good. It's convenient restaurant for Woodside.

  4. Food is cheap and always quick.  I've never actually been to the cafe; however, i used to order from here quite frequently via seamless.  The menu options are a hit and miss.

Things i did enjoy:  Buffalo chicken wrap, French Toast
Things i did not enjoy: Cuban sandwich, French Fries

  5. Service sucks. Why have wait staff that don't seem to want to work there. I felt like I did something wrong as soon as I sat down.

I ordered up the pancakes and the bacon. Bacon is damn delicious! Super crispy and fresh. Pancakes? They would be good if they weren't 4inches thick. Way to thick, which makes them super dry, regardless of how much syrup you use. I ate one and took the other to the park to use as a discus.

  6. I give them 5 stars and it's based on delivery ONLY! Always under 30mins. Food is always hot and always yummy. I order from seamless at least 3 times a week from this place and always get the same thing. There chicken panini with there chipotle mayo on the side. Love there chipotle mayo! I also like there fries.

  7. This one is easy:

Cheap prices, good food, convenient location right by the 52nd Street 7 train.

Guacamole Burger seems to be a crowd favorite. I went with breakfast, simple Huevos Rancheros and some other breakfast norms (sausage, hash browns, home fries, etc).

Affordable and tasty. Super friendly and attentive staff. Can't complain. It's a local place you feel good supporting.

  8. They would have gotten 4 stars from me if the service wasn't so slooooowww. It was only us (party of 2) and another table (party of 2) there on a rainy day and it took almost 30 minutes to get our food. Also, our appetizer came after our entree. Really, you may ask…. Yes, really.

Anyways, besides the mediocre service, the food was actually pretty good. The French onion soup was pretty average – but it had some kind of toasted bread in it that made it delicious. The fried calamari was good, came with a lot of sauce on the side. Too bad it came after our entrees. For entrees, AZ had the ABC mini burgers that he really enjoyed. His fries were awesome, btw. I ordered the Shrimp Caesar wrap. I'm the person that hates croutons and lots of Caesar dressing in my Caesar wraps/salads, but this place got it right! My wrap was great. I loved it. I opted for the salad instead of the fries but didn't get to eat much of it cause I was stuffed. It seemed good though haha. Oh, and their coffee is pretty good, don't expect it to get refilled though.

Also, this is a small diner. So small that the kitchen is right in the open and you can hear everything – every drop, every pot and pan, every dish. It's loud.

I'm sure I'll come back here to give their service another chance.
