Love blazed pizza! It's so much healthier than the typical pizza. Their crust is thin and you can creat your own toppings. They aren't cheap with the toppings so you just have to ask for more. You don't ask more, they don't give more. For those that are less adventurous, there are specialty pies that have the ingredients already planned out for you or you can order 1 topping pie or plain cheese pizza.
They also have chicken salad and side salad pre made fresh everyone day nearby the cashiers.
This is located in Willowbrook Mall as soon as you walk into the mall from the food court area, it's on your right hand side. The service is great. I know it's a fast food place but the workers walk around and asks if everything is okay, checking upon their customers. Besides some chick fil a restaurants, I don't know another fast food place does that.
I had the pleasure of meeting so many Yelpers at this great Pizza place.
The event organized by Sara M. was so nice. Thank You.
Blaze… Clean, staff is awesome and patient.. The location has its own entrance outside of the mall which is foreign to sweat coast guy. All good.
The pizza dough is placed (round) is placed on a machine and pressed to perfection. The process is cool to witness, once it's flattened the assembly line begins… One you decide what type of pie you want the ingredients..(toppings) are spread to your liking… This takes all but 2-3 min as you wait… Voila -/ within 4 min your pie is out, and your name is called.
Condiments are near, as the seats, lighting is warm and inviting to hang around…
Thumbs up to Blaze for making Pizza the way you want to enjoy with a relatively conservative price point. Although they have s'mores I didn't binge but probably would've enjoyed that too..
Can't go wrong, definitely will repeat and recommend to any pizza lovers to give Blaze a try.
Love this place!
Its tucked away in the very end – back of the food court – of the willowbrook mall, however has its own entrance towards the back. There's also tons of seating for Blaze Pizza customers, with a fountain station that offers free refills.
You'd be foolish not to build your own pizza here, as there are tons of good high quality ingredients. And the wait time for the pizza is not very long at all – i think it was like a couple of minutes – which will probably depend on how many ingredients you choose to add to your pizza.
One pizza is probably good for two people, which for $8+ ish is kind of a good deal from my perspective.
Located in front of the Willowbrook Mall food court is this Blaze Pizza. This is a fairly new location that recently opened. They have the typical Blaze options with make your own Pizza and Salads. I usually order the build your own pizza and get all the toppings from chicken, pepperoni, peppers, roasted garlic, and basil. Once you select all your toppings, the pie goes in the oven for 180 seconds. The thin crust pizza usually has a little burnt crust but they cut them off anyway. The restaurant itself is clean and they sometimes do ask you about your pizza so you can speak to them about your experience. If you haven't ate Blaze Pizza give them a try.
Originally tried Blaze for a Yelp Elite event. They handed us a free coupon for a pie so naturally I had to go back and get another. I did the make your own pie and threw on some mozzarella, ricotta, pepperoni, spinach, mushrooms, roasted garlic and some pesto drizzle at the end. The pesto drizzle is amazing. Great way to top it off! This pizza is delicious. I love all the choices you get. And if you don't want to build your own you can chose one of their signature pies. Best part is your pizza is done in about 5 minutes from start to finish. Staff here is very friendly. There's a dining area so you don't have to sit in the food court of the mall if you don't want to. Can't wait to build my next pie! Oh and don't forget to try the blood orange lemonade!!
It's in the back of the food court of the mall by the Sears auto side…good part is they have their own seating away from the food court….first thoughts is man they have tons of options… The lady asked if it was my first time their and I told her yes! So what's the best pizza!!! She said the white top… I went with it (writing my name on a paper so they know whos pizzas it was! Being a fatass I went and added custom additional toppings …..chicken,bacon, Italian sausage, green pepper, red onions, mushroom, mozzarella, oregano, garlic, white sauce…took about five min in their BLAZIN oven and the drinks are free refill…#winning…pizza was awesome and cheeeeesy…….with a drink every thing came to about 11$ish …I ate everything because that's what pizza monsters do haha
Blaze, the newest in Chipotle or Subway style build your own food chain focuses on pizza and does a pretty good job. Pizza is cooked in about 3 minutes which is staggering considering how many toppings you can put on. For the less adventurous, they have 8 or so more traditional choices like margarita and a meat lover one, but the real fun is in the build your own (for the same price). With this, you get to go down the assembly line and choose from several types of sauce, cheese, meat, veggies, herbs, and other toppings. All in all, there are probably about 30-40 types of toppings to choose from. You can get very creative with this. The spicy gorgonzola, sausage, jalapeno pie I made was quite tasty with a pretty solid crust for the fast cook and a nice depth of flavor from all the toppings. The staff is very friendly and professional and was super willing to help explain the process. It was also nice not to feel judged for picking about 15 toppings. There are also some side choices and salads available as well as desserts. It would be nice if they had a few other options like breadsticks or wings though to complete the meal, though the pizza itself was incredibly filling.
Just like the Paramus location, I've now been back here after the Yelp Elite event. So now I can publicly thank them for welcoming Yelp with open arms. I'd also like to give a special shout-out to the waitstaff on Pi Day 2016. The line snaked halfway through the food court and nerves were clearly frazzled. Some workers smiled through it all, some were just working at breakneck pace to try to get things done. One worker went back to bring out a fresh bin when I asked for spinach and it was empty. Especially given the circumstances, I really want to commend all of them. (They were out of blood orange lemonade. I'm sure they just ran out because it was so popular, and with the amount of other things to handle, they couldn't find time to make more. I really will not hold this against them.)
A special five stars for everything above, and for the general friendliness, and the quickness of service once you do get to your order. It may have been the day, but they were not very communicative this time about when the next person would take my order, so I found myself guessing at who to talk to next. It would have actually made their lives easier because I could then have moved through more quickly. Then again, they also had a number switch on the pies at the end, so I'm inclined to think the whole thing was just Pi Day. ($3.14 pies. Anything you want on the pie. It's insane that they do this at all, let alone after going through this madness in prior years.)
I have to keep my head on straight though. This isn't NY style pie. This is semi-artisan, but not really part of any one category. It's not even meal-on-a-crust. It's just unique. The fact that you can add as many toppings as you like for one price gets me every time. I can eat an entire regular NY/NJ style pizza, but I get full after eating one much smaller Blaze pizza with all those toppings. That's pretty good for a price under $10. And the blood orange lemonade is addictive. I've tried other Willowbrook food court options. There's really nothing else there worth mentioning. Skip the chicken bourbon-teriyaki and the Philly-style cheese-style steak-style sandwich and get in line at Blaze!
