  1. only tried the salad here, but seriously, i only paid $4.20 for it.
THAT'S excellence. I like options  and Simply Food.  You make the salad and the choppers chop it up.  So, if I want 3.5 pieces of spinach but lots of tomatoes, I can do that!!! Finally!! Portion control baby. Portion control.

  2. For the people who have complained about the pricing. C'mon give me a break. We are in midtown east; lunch is expensive period. I don't even think this place is that expensive since they give you a free soup with the purchase of a custom made salad. I like how you get to choose and pick yourself instead of a worker doing it for you. It's all about portion control, which is why i love cold salad buffets like Amish Market. The place here is reasonably priced and they have a decent protein/veggie selection. They chop your salad up free of charge and pour the dressing and mix it for you too. Normally, i like to add my own dressing as portion control, but I notice that they use a small ladle so they don't drown the salad. For a complimentary soup, i tried the sweet corn and crab spicy soup. It is indeed spicy and very tasty. I may have to come here more often.

  3. "Simple" is a good word to describe this dime-a-dozen deli in Midtown East.  What makes it a place I like to frequent, however, are the good deals and basic but fresh food.

This is the Home of the $1.99 breakfast sandwich, which is a great deal in my book.  I get an egg, tomato, and hot sauce on a toasted english muffin for 2 bucks.  Simple and fresh.  They also have a decent oatmeal bar and good soups.

Not a place you would go out of the way to visit, but worth a stop in if you work in the neighborhood.

  4. like what the name of the restaurant, it's simple. you get your lunch food and you are out. there is no project to run away here. some food prepared, you pick them up or you ask to make your sandwiches or have your soups scoop up. the store claims, its food are healthy and organic, maybe, some. staffs were nice because their establishment was new. all that said, let me simply end this, it's simple. got it?

  5. Came in here for the $1.99 sausage egg and cheese sandwich. It was clean in there and they were fast. The sandwich was very tasty and cheap!
