We just went for the weekly burger and we walked into the Brew House holiday party! Complimentary Buffet with everything on the buffet. Sausage and peppers, Shepherds Pie, Eggplant lasagna, Ravioli, Macaroni and Cheese, Meatballs with Mozzarella, Chicken with mushroom sauce and more. They lost me at the Lasagna. Everything was delicious and Ramone the chef prepared the food.
I ordered a Malibu Bay Breeze and this was probably my first cocktail in three years. It was pretty good, but I also told the bartender to put it in a big glass with lots of juice. I did not want it too strong. G had the diet coke and was the designated driver.
After our first plate of food we both asked each other if we wanted anything else…..we were so full and it was so nice that this little neighborhood bar put out such a nice spread for the patrons.
Just before we left, I went to speak with Ramone and thanked him for such lovely food. Ramone was so nice and said he was so glad we enjoyed the food. He told me he always cooks everything fresh and takes care to make sure the quality of the food they serve is always excellent. You can really tell that Ramone takes great pride in his cooking. I can tell you that each time I have come here for the hamburger it has been cooked perfectly.
Thank you Brew House for the lovely unexpected party that we walked in on. It was great!
Having a large group of 10+ people, we decided to catch up on some sunday football, hang out and enjoy a few beers, so we ended up here and overall it was a good experience…! The place was a bit crowded, however the owners were willing to relocate some other patrons to accommodate us with two adjacent booths.
Beer choices were plenty and the food options were appealing. Chicken wings, loaded nachos, onion rings, fries, etc were ordered and were all viable options for a great time. The nachos and onion rings stood out….!
Overall, the place might be a bit small, but it sure makes up for it with beer options, good hospitality and decent finger foods…
Great hole-in-the-wall to hang out after work. Bartenders are friendly with a sense of humor. Cheap Beers and Cocktails. Bar food is yummy as well.
I was looking for a place to catch up with some friends over wings and drinks and found this place on Google. We came in on a Wednesday night, booths were empty, a handful of people sitting at the bar, with what looked like one lady working the entire bar and tables. We sat down by ourselves and had to go to the bar to place our order and even get our drinks. It also took awhile for water to come to our table. I'm sitting there with my friends at the booth thinking we chose the wrong place and was ready to give this Brew House three stars.
However as the night went on, I grew to like the place even more and this place soon became the new Wednesday Night Hangout spot for my friends and me. They had great deals on their beers and pitchers. We ordered 50 wings, but that was more than enough for my two friends and me. Wednesday night's they do trivia night which turned out to be very fun as there were these two girls walking around serving free Miller beers and my friends and I got to bond over how stupid we were in answering the questions. The service picked up as well as our new waitress kept checking up on our table to make sure we everything was good and we had everything we needed.
First impression of the place was bad, but I guess we just came too early (6pm) which I guess is their down time. But I left the place with an entirely different impression. If you're in the area, go at night on Wednesday nights to check this place out!
Headed here after a disapointing night elsewhere. Should have gone straight here. Snagged a table right away. Got served by a nice waitress quickly and got our drinks lickedy split. Never had to wonder where the waitress was, she was always there when we needed her. She even came to warn us when the kitchen was closing so we could order food if we wanted (we did). Bar tender even came out from behind the bar to make sure everything was good.
Great experience and I will definately be back!
5 Stars are not enough and do not do justice to the All Stars and Superstars at this great, great place. I lucked into finding this place on my way to Hand Rolled Bagels a couple of stores down. I popped in on Monday around noon and met a really nice gentleman named Kenny who was bartending and just warm, welcoming and told me about the Team Trivia on Wednesday night.
What an amazing place and a fun, beautiful evening.
If I was to give 5 stars, here is why with a star for each:
1) Bartender Christine – amazing, spunky, full of life, real, welcomed me like I was a lifelong customer and friend. Never been to a bar and experienced this and her genuine attitude ever. She also introduced me to another patron Evan who was kind enough to include me on his team with his two friends. Amazing multitasker handling the bar and waiting on tables, bringing out the amazing wings and burgers.
2) The best and tastiest Grilled cheese and tomato sandwich I have had in a long time. Sunday 4/24 update had the 3 egg omelette with tomatoes, onions, bell peppers plus cheddar and it was solid. Jen the Sunday am bartender/hostess/ waitress was amazing.
3) The trivia event hosted by this super, super guy named Bob. Attended many a team trivia events in Md, Fl and Az but never had a host who was so good , sharp and quick; connected & interacted with everyone and I do mean a whole spectrum of ages and nationalities, kept it fun, lively and suspenseful for almost 140 minutes. Amazing!
4) Amazing prices – Sandwich, side salad plus two glasses of Merlot for twenty bucks.
5) Bartenders Kenny, Mike( also a sweet kid) and Christine bought me a round. This was my first time there.
I have just have never had just a great all round evening. In NY for a bit and most definitely will be back and not just on Wednesday nights.
I've been here maybe 3-4 times, and maybe I'm missing something from other people's 5 star reviews, but IDK this place always seems kinda dead to me whenever I go even on a Friday/Saturday night. It's a great bar if you're looking to just get a quick drink and catch up in a chill atmosphere (not a loud bar where you can hardly hear your friend). Prices seem reasonable but nothing out of the norm. They have good choices of beers and they happened to have ciders which I appreciate. I'll probably come back since it's my friends' local favorite; hopefully it's more lively next time.
I used to go to this place when it was Celtic Corner, and this place is by far better. They have made some much needed improvements, and now it looks like a reputable pub. Totally renovated, with new TV's a brand new internet juke box, and very clean bathrooms. (Thank God) The bartender, Sarah,, was very engaging, polite, and helpful. She made certain that our drinks were always topped off and was very sociable. By the time we arrived, the kitchen was already closed, but I took a look at the menu and it looked pretty decent. I look forward to coming back here and trying their food.
