I bought turkey breast there thinking I was doing a good thing by buying the cold cuts Halal. I usually buy turkey breast at the local Kosher supermarket. It lasts well over 7 days till it is all gone. The cold cuts I bought at this market were good about 3 days then on the 4th day the meat was changing color and starting to smell. Also the way they sliced it was really bad. So my suggestion to people is get your cold cuts from a Kosher market not a Halal place like this. Maybe because of lack of demand they keep the meat too long because I also got bad cold cuts from another Halal place years ago.
Great halal meat. The store itself was a little non-friendly (ummm…can a sister get a salaamz?). But the butcher was very nice. Delicious merguez sausage.
