This bakery is amazing – zero complaints.
I found this place on Google because I needed a cake and it was very last minute (ordered on Tuesday, needed it for Saturday) – it was May, wedding season and every other bakery said they couldn't help me. It's a very small local shop near the railroad station in Valley Stream and the two women that I spoke to were extremely kind and willing to help me. Originally, I wanted a fondant cake but they said there was absolutely no space or time but that they could use buttercream frosting. I ordered a Tiffany box themed chocolate cake with strawberry filling and many of our guest said it was the best cake they had ever had. It truly was – I don't even like cake, but this one was so good! They make cakes in all shapes and sizes, and everything can be personalized to your specific preferences.
I continue to go to this bakery for two reasons:
1. the cake itself is amazing
2. the service is even better
My wife got my birthday cake here through a party planning company and not only was is very cool people still ask about it because as they say "It's the best cake they ever had"
I'm not one for sweets but even I enjoyed the "Dominican cake"
Prices are subjective to people but I feel their rates, although average more orl less, are high.
I stopped by and ordered a mango and red velvet cupcake. The prices are affordable and I like how they package your cupcakes so the frosting doesnt get over mushy and all over your bag. I really love their buttercream and the red velvet was delicious. I wasnt a big fan of the mango. The shop is a small litle store and I would return to check out some other items when I am in the neighborhood.
