  1. This review is for the Cibo which is located in the center food court area in the middle part of Terminal C at EWR.  Personally I liked this place.  They had a huge amount of pre-packaged sandwiches and foods, yogurt, drinks, snacks, sundries and lots healthy options. What I liked most is that there are several self-service checkouts where you simply scan the bar codes of all the items you purchased, swipe your credit card and you're quickly on your way, with bags next to the checkout and a small bar area with condiments, napkins, straws and the like…So you can purchase whatever you want here, check yourself out and not have to interact with any (sometimes less than friendly and energetic) service staff at all!

Cibo Express also has things like soft serve ice cream (possibly frozen yogurt, I'm not sure) which can be weighed at the self-service checkouts and paid for there as well.

On this day I got a Cibo Italian wrap sandwich which was $9.49, a bottle of orange juice which was $3, and a bottle of water which was $2.19. The sandwich wasn't worth the cost, but overall their foods were priced OK for airport fare and considering the convenience of this place.

  2. Way over priced even for a terminal and all the menu pics are completely NOT what you're getting

UPDATE: no more than ten mins after I posted this review did the manager Sean appear at my side to offer his apology for the order I got. Offered to give me whatever I needed to replace that meal. That kind of response time to my online review? THATS pretty impressive!

  3. ***This is a better than average airport convenience store; while it is pricey, you can purchase a wide variety of snacks, sweets and bottled water; they also feature a good assortment of ready-to-go meals (chilled) for the plane ride like wraps, cheese plates and more (they even have a few healthy options)***

This airport convenience store is located past security so it is only open to air travelers.  I imagine parking here is expensive.

  4. Cibo Express is a waste of money. The coffee is horrible, the food is inedible. I would highly recommend eating elsewhere in Newark airport.
All the breakfast options seemed pricey $25+ in Newark so I came here because it was cheaper and quick. Note that I said cheaper, it wasn't that cheap. A coffee and sandwich will easily set you back by at least $10.
There is an ipad where you can order sandwiches. I ordered an egg white omelette, which they claimed they didn't have. So I ordered an egg sandwich. They messed up my order, they didn't put the right cheese. The eggs were so burnt, it was like eating tasteless dry hard yellow crap. It was gross. Even though I was starving, I didn't finish my sandwich. The cashier wasn't even there, everyone had to wait for her to come so that they could pay.
Even though I hate airplane food, I gotta say that horrible airplane food is better than Cibo Express.
