I can actually give them a whole hearted five stars. They were so helpful and actually filled my prescription really quickly( hardly had time to write this review) They also asked about drug interactions. While I was there I noticed they come from behind the counter to help customers. They are constantly walking around asking people if they need assistance. Great team. Also, I love that the chase atm is in a hidden nook as opposed to right in the doorway like some other locations.
This is the tiniest Duane Reade I have ever been to. First off I was coming from a direction where I didn't see the entrance. Even the entrance is hard to find!! Geez. On one side of the block…you see the Duane Reade sign…and the side of the store….then you go around the corner…then there is a newstand..I mean….where is the entrance? The newstand jets out quite a bit and you cant see the rest of the store…I was like…did I miss the entrance? I had to go around the newstand…and then walk even more before I found the entrance which unfortunately jets INWARD so it's hard to see. Weird.
Anyways. It is TINY in this Duane Reade. The cashier is super sweet. SUPER duper sweet. She pointed me in the right direction and because teh store is so tiny she was able to tell me as I got closer to the item…….sorta playing HOT and COLD with me..until I was right in front of it. That was nice…most people just tell me an aisle number and leave me be to find it. I do like that she pointed out where it was for me. I loved her for that. She also engaged me in a conversation about lactose intolerance. Yeah that was what I was getting, diary pills.
