Delicious Mango Slush! On one of the hottest days of the summer I decided to make a quick stop at this new shop in the neighborhood. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. They asked if I wanted the "bubbles" in my slush and opted out. They have cool screens that display their drinks and even what are ingredients are made from or come from. I am definitely going back to enjoy their other drinks. I can't wait to try their green tea drinks!
They gave me a regular straw when I had lychee jelly in my drink. I don't know how they expected me to enjoy my drink….anyway, I had the grapefruit green tea with half the sugar. drink was tarty from the grapefruit but still had the flavors of green tea. The interior is small but big enough if you and a friend want to sit down and have some bubble tea. They don't accept credit card, cash only. I've had better bubble tea on 8th ave but if you're in Bay ridge, I guess this would be a decent place to come. Also it's kind of pricey. Almost paid $6 for a medium drink with jelly.
coco is my fav place for bubble tea. i wanted to try the brooklyn location since many of the others are in manhattan or queens. prices are the same as other locations. i ordered 2 drinks, both with lychee jelly but i realized one of them was missing it after i already left so -1 star for that. besides that, everything about it is pretty good
These people were so friendly, offered free samples, and gave tastes before we decided. I recommend getting the tea unsweetened since the add-ins are sweet. They have unique additions to their teas such as red bean (super sweet), grass jelly (and earthy tasting jello), custard, and of course tapioca. Milk tea is made with lactaid milk. The match red bean was great but the beans were just too sweet for me. I'll definitely be back to try some more.
