  1. This is our neighborhood CVS, so I end up going there most of the time *strictly* due to convenience.  There was a manager who was awful, but fortunately he no longer works there.  Until today, I thought the pharmacy staff were far superior to the (mostly-unfriendly/-unhelpful/sometimes even downright *nasty*) store staff – but there was a really nasty young woman working in the pharmacy and the other woman working there didn't care one bit.

(Update on 9/16/10):  This store was renovated a few weeks ago and now it looks really good, plus they somehow managed to hire some *very* friendly daytime cashiers (quite an improvement!).  I'm therefore upgrading my rating from two to three stars, even though the weekday pharmacy clerk is always in a nasty mood (and she's not even either of the two nasty ones who I referred to previously).

(Update on 1/10/13):  There's a terrific assistant manager (Tim) and a very sweet/friendly cashier (Emily) who have worked there for many months now.

(Update on 6/23/13):  The store manager inexplicably had Tim & Emily transferred to other stores last month, and they were the only "bright spot" at this store.  The vast majority of other workers – including a nasty shift manager – are atrocious, therefore I'm downgrading my rating back to two stars.

(Update on 1/27/14):  O.K., "fair is fair"….the aforementioned store manager is history as of about a month ago and his replacement is a *really* nice guy, plus a few new/*very* friendly & helpful clerks are now working there.  Back to three stars and I'm feeling optimistic.

(Update on 8/22/14):  The store manager I mentioned last time – Adrian – is still working there and he's *terrific*.  Also; *all* of the clerks now working there are very pleasant and helpful.  That even includes the *pharmacy* clerks, which is a "first" for them.  I'm therefore upgrading my rating to four stars.

(Update on 3/14/15):  Adrian continues to be a terrific manager and I actually *enjoy* going to this store (quite an improvement!).

(Update on 8/15/15):  Unfortunately Adrian no longer works there, which makes me sad because he was the best thing about this store.

  2. I visit this CVS once in a blue moon to pick up drinks and snacks or whatnot. Every time I come here, the quality of service continues to deteriorate. Today was no different.

I don't know what CVS is trying to accomplish eliminating employees and replacing them with self service kiosks. 75 percent of the time, these kiosks don't even work. It would be faster for an employee to physically scan our items. Today my friend wanted to purchase 3 bottles of water and it took forever to scan everything. Not to mention that the machine broke down and we had to wait for an employee to scan his card and fix the problem. And from what I can see, he was the only employee in the whole store.

I would really want to come back here unless I needed to. The floor was really dirty as well. Seems like they haven't cleaned it in weeks.
