  1. Panda Cafe
    NY Manhattan Chinatown
    8pm Tuesday 22nd June 2016
    Three Stars

Panda Cafe is the new Boba Tea Kid on the block. The staff was a clueless. Tiffany ordered a coconut smoothie with aloe and bobba ($3.25 I think they forgot to up charge us). They added the aloe but forgot the Boba which was really apparent since the signature black balls were absent. The drink was not too sweet. The tapioca balls had a nice texture. The coconut had a nice flavor.

They definitely needed more Panda decorations.

I want to try their $5.5 food item + drink combo which includes corn dogs, cuttle fish balls, sweet potato fries, taro fries, tempura, karage, and oyster mushrooms.

  2. It's a pleasure to be the first to review this place. I had a really good experience here. I happened to be walking by here and saw a big banner for buy one, get one free.  The place is small, with two tables and about 4 chairs for each table. The line moves quick. I asked the guy at the register if the milk tea is part of buy one get one free. He pointed to the display wall towards the premium milk tea. He asked me which one did I want. I told him taro milk tea. He said I can do the BOGO for you (even though it's not part of the premium milk tea). Yay!! Less than 3 minutes later, I was a proud owner of two taro milk tea for the price of $3.
They have two sizes: small and large. The small is similar to the medium size at other locations. So a very decent size for $3. A large is $3.85. I got tapicoa, which I was NOT charged extra it unlike other places. The taro milk tea was very tasty and creamy. They put plenty of tapicoa in the drink. The place itself is bright and the seating are near the window. You can drink milk tea with your friends while people watching. The staff here were very friendly. The guy that hand me my drink even said "thanks for coming." That's rare to hear in Chinatown. I highly recommend this place.
