My friends dragged me here for their coffee, they've been raving about how good it is. I had a latte and it was alright. I like how it's a surf shop and a coffee shop in one. I wish they had a menu of what drinks they made though. Decent collection of tea choices.
Pretty Blah by New York standards. The cafe itself is kind of bizarre in that's located within a small clothing store. They have a very limited selection of food and drinks.
We walked in, and there was nobody at the cafe's separate counter. It took a solid 5 minutes for someone to walk over and greet us. We both ordered chocolate croissants and ice coffee. I asked if the croissants could be heated up and they said the only way they could do that was if they shot hot steam at it from the espresso machine. I opted for the room temperature croissant.
The coffee was so-so. Not horrible, but nothing to write home about.
