  1. Bread is good here. Cheap prices. Ranges from $1 to $1.60 for bread/pastries and $1.10 to $3.75 for hot/cold drinks.

I recommend the red bean swirl bread, sweet potato bread, pineapple bun, and milk tea.

    Pros:
    1) Use real HONG KONG milk tea bags not LIPTON tea bags…
    2) Fast service in the mornings
    3) Deal for "SUMMER DRINKS" after 2pm: Bubble/rainbow jelly milk tea for $1.40, I got two for $2.75.

    Cons:
    1) Real cramped space…. like half a hallway basically..
    2) They talk behind your back if they think you dont understand Cantonese…. BEWARE. It's actually pretty disrespectful because they do it a lot…
    3) They dont accept more than 5 PENNIES. This is weird. I think they might be too lazy to count themselves.
    4) Sometimes, if you ask if they have a summer drink special, theyll say no…. seems like they only have the summer sign outside for advertising purposes and not to actually sell any of the drinks…. but its worth it if you actually do manage to get it.

TIP: Get the summer deal if you want the iced milk tea without paying $2.50. You pay $1.40 and drink the tea and ignore the bubbles!

Recommend for cheap snack/bread to eat, dont recommend for the ladies who work there.

  2. Came in and got the Vanilla Roll Cake which was very good.  It was moist as if it were just made.  Prices are good compared to other bakeries in Flushing.  I like that they make Bubble Tea, Tea and other types of drinks there.  If you are in the mood for a quick hot snack they also have hot pork/chicken/beef buns in the warmer to the side.

Place can get a bit busy during rush hour so get ready to be bumped by some old Asian woman.

  3. Got the sesame roll and it was SO good! A great sesame flavor in a soft and sweet roll, with JUUUUUST enough creme. Bought a red bean bao for my bf and he found it to be very good (def a 4 star bao in his opinion). I got the black tea bubble tea, and while the bubbles were awful, the tea was absolutely amazing – like I remember it in Taiwan! A little more pricey than other Chinese bakeries, but pretty tasty none-the-less. Also great, convenient location. Would I come back? YES!!!

  4. Fresh baked pastries (coconut buns, cha siu buns, and chocolate/vanilla rolls) and lemon and milk tea/coffee are what usually make up my general purchases here.  I find that smell of bread enticing.  Let alone, the delicious aroma of coffee that wafts in every now and then.  Yes, there may be a free for all when it comes to lines, so be prepared to either wait or be assertive when ordering.  Have your order and cash ready in hand.  🙂

  5. Small, concise, and neat, this is the closest bakery to my apartment. It's not usually crowded in the morning since it's further from the train station than most bakeries (e.g. Taipan. Fay Da, etc)

I like the fact that most of the buns are pre-wrapped and you can actually buy steamed ones too. Went in, grabbed about 13 buns for a party for work, paid for everything and was out within 2 minutes. The lady even asked if I needed a receipt (in case I need to list it as a business expense). Awesome bakery!
