  1. 2.5 stars: Decent tasting boba tea, but pretty disappointing that most come as powdered. And at $4.50, it's extra disappointing that it's powdered!

I had a Hot Thai iced bubble tea, and since it's all powdered, the sugar is mixed in with the Thai tea powder…so you don't have a choice in customizing sweetness. If I wanted less sweetness, I would have to sacrifice taste.

The powder itself still tastes great in mixture, but overall for the price, it's disappointing

  2. If you like SLUSHY bubble tea this place is for you.  They have a good assortment of flavors and the bubbles have a good chewy consistency.  Although if you let them sit in the frozen drink too long, they harden.  The sweetness level is acceptable, not super sweet.  I personally like the red bean, classic black tea and taro.  The flavors don't taste as artificial as those of other bubble tea shops.

Recently we were there on a Sunday afternoon and there was only one guy working who had to serve 15 or so customers.  They definitely could use another server.  However, the guy was fairly efficient and we waited only 15min or so.

Overall a decent spot to satisfy your frozen bubble tea craving.

  3. B est Taro boba I have ever had
O ther places always add too much water and sugar
B ring all my LA/NYC friends here when they visit :]
A nd they tend to agree — this place does it better!

L ike the almond and original milk also
A nd the pastry selection is delicious
N ever too crowded or busy, but can get slow
D on't forget you can sit next door too~

  4. Decided to pop in here because it was close to where I was meeting family and I was craving a cold misoogaroo (mixed grain) drink. I've lived in LA for 13 years and most, if not all Korean run boba shops have misoogaroo and they were all pretty decent (Boba Loca being the place with the best I think). The misoogaroo here was just ok. It was more of an ice slush than it was a misoogaroo slush.

My sister had the strawberry banana and that was pretty good.

They had this Korean chestnut snack that I absolutely love. It was a bit overpriced but considering I hadn't been able to find it in Philly, it was worth it.

There was some seating in the order section and oddly there was a completely open seating area across the hallway as well if that's more of your thing. Service was ok.

    All in all, pretty average.

    Parking: Metered street parking

  5. I asked the kid at the front to kindly redo my taro bubble tea- I've been getting it at least once a week and I know how it usually tastes. It didn't taste like anything today.
I was outraged when he took my drink, popped another straw in, tries it out, and tells me "it tastes fine and I'm not going to make a new one for you." What?? FRIGGIN OUTRAGEOUS. I get it, you're eating dinner – then close the store if you don't want to serve patrons while trying to eat. Threw it out at the front- really wanted to throw it at the kid. The audacity… Grrrrr

  6. despite the bubble tea being $4.50 each (a little pricey … but not too pricey in this area), they have some solid bubble tea.

and i can always count on this place to be open late at night. nothing too crazy though. but late enough so that i can still swing by after a late dinner.

    Flavors i recommend:
    taro (i prefer 2 over 1…. but i haven't had 1 in a while so i can't remember it that well…)
    passionfruit
apple – this one i recently discovered and i love it. sweet and tangy but not too sour. as close to a real apple taste u can get .. but can still tell that it's artificial hahaha. but good stuff

they also have lots of other things like snacks and things you can get. including baked goods and korean snacks too!

i wish there was more seating, but usually it's not too bad.

  7. Being new to this area, I was recommended to try Boba Land. I ordered their Thai bubble tea and bought a few rolls of bread.

Their bubble tea was very… slushy, with a lot of clear slush at the bottom and their bread was fairly decent. Customer service here wasn't all that exceptional and the table we sat at wasn't very clean… So in summary, would I go back to this place? I'm not too sure. It didn't leave a bad impression, but it didn't leave a great impression either. Street parking, good location. 3 stars.

  8. I thank Yelp for this place! Sunday late night craving and Boba Land is open until 12am? Win.

This place was about 25 minutes away so I arrived about 15 minutes before closing time. Parking was fast and easy. Deciding on what to get was even easier. I was craving passion fruit and my company wanted thai tea. Ordering was quick and painless although there are plenty of flavors to choose from on their menu. The wait wasn't very long either. While waiting, I spotted a few Korean snacks they were sell here and hope to come back for.

My passion fruit bubble tea was amazing!!! It wasn't too sweet tasted just right. The thai tea was also great, rich in flavor and not watered down as I've come across in other establishments. I will definitely be back for their other flavors, especically since they are open so late.
