  1. Great Roast Pork Bun , $1.40, including tax (5.10.2016) with a generous amount of yummy roast pork inside, see my photos.  I behaved & only LOOKED at the beautiful cakes & pastries, but I will be back to try a pastry, to be sure.
Lovely pastries, whole cakes, & GREAT PRICES!
You can sit inside at several silver tables-cool looking tables, & there is also counter space along a windowed side of the bakery. See my photos.
FOR VISITORS–this bakery is in Chinatown. Walker Street is only a few steps/blocks from Canal Street & Mott Street. If you are on Canal Street at Mott Street, you are only about 2-3 blocks away. This part of Walker Street is a short block that is kind of PARALLEL (runs almost alongside) Canal Street. It may take a tiny bit of effort to find Walker Street, but, I promise, when you do, you will laugh, because you are so close to Canal & Mott Streets. SWEETS BAKERY, Located on the Corner, IS WORTH A VISIT!
See my photos.  The staff is friendly, yes, the staff is helpful, & smiling! Everything you want is here. Visit!

  2. Another bakery pops up in Chinatown. This one has baked goods cakes and bubble teas of all kinds of varieties. It's a nice cozy space near the canal street station.

I got a sponge cake filled with a gelatinous flavored cream and a plain coffee. Their coffee is hot! The cake was good. I don't know what the other things are it probably helps to know what you're looking for when you go here. I see sponge cakes and egg tarts and lots of buns. I'd probably have to get the low down on what's in them buns cuz the writing is not in English.

A nice addition to this corner of Chinatown.
