  1. Now Blue Bottle was my cup of tea! Coffee..whatever.

I walked in and was greeted by a multitude of smiling faces, flannel and backwards caps. I scoped out their beans to see what I wanted to take home but couldnt quite decide. I go to the counter and end up ordering a soy latte. The espresso–OMG. DELICIOUS. It was delicious. Easily the smoothest, most wonderfully enjoyable soy latte I have ever consumed (only second to a coffee shop in Prague). Pretty amazing right!

After taking a sip, I knew exactly what I wanted to take home–their espresso.

Blue Bottle is a must visit.

  2. My favorite item: cappuccino

But you can't go wrong here with any other.  Of course the New Orleans Cold Brew is awesome in the summer, but even just their regular cold brew is great.  I can count on their consistency no matter the location or time of visit.

  3. The consistency of Blue Bottle can't be understated. In much the same way you can count on Starbucks to serve up a serviceable cup of coffee, Blue Bottle always produces a good to very good cup, regardless of location. My gripe is small, and that is the lack of wi-fi. Do I really need to deduct a star for this? Well, I hate to say it, but yes. In theory, the principle is the wi-fi-free setting will encourage conversation and minimize device checkage, etc., right? I'm just a simple man trying to compose an email or two.

Great coffee, just stinks I have to haul it home to get my online work done. On the other hand, I've been known to fill to fill a few pages in the ol' notebook here. Silver lining.

  4. In conjunction with our attempts at being hipsters this past weekend, we stumbled across this place after exploring Williamsburg/Brooklyn for the day.

Blue bottle is everything that you would except in a Williamsburg coffee shop – flooded with beanies/MacBooks/alternate music. The coffee is great and apparently they just raised $70M in their latest funding round. Have a larger presence on the west coast but their VC believe that they're going to compete with Starbucks, so expect rapid growth over the next year.

Decided to cash in on a few bags of coffee for myself and North Side Social loving roommate (only people who have ventured into Arlington, VA will get this), so overall was pleased with my experience. Ordered a vanilla latte. Hoping to see a location in my home town of DC soon!

  5. A friend suggested we meet here today for a straight-up drip/pour over coffee. I usually have a latte or the amazing nolo cold brew. But today I went with the pour over.

My God. It was bloody good. After watching the barista do his technical thang we added a bit of half and half and sat outside on the bench to SAVOR. So good.

It was impressively expensive although I would like to have paid more. $8.47 for two black coffees with milk including a $1 tip. I love you Blue Bottle my poncey friend.

  6. Space: large factory with a good sized seating area, though the line wraps around it which is rather claustrophobic. 1 bathroom, but clean.

Pros: fast service. Variety of milks.

Cons: No decaf, aside from espresso. Not the best coffee in my opinion.

  7. Awesome space for a weekend coffee with friends. The cold brew is fantastic and when the weather is nice, they open the front doors and windows.

I hope more locations open up in Manhattan!

  8. Cute little place, half warehouse. Stopped in on a Saturday morning, w a bit of a line, but not crazy. Place had character, w coffee distillery in the back and a number of interesting boutique-y coffee options.
I would say they've done enough to set themselves apart from the typical coffee shop, but not so crazy it's sickening
