Decent but cramped and stuffy bubble tea to go place in Flushing. Kind of a nightmarish situation seeing as it's so narrow and crowded inside but the staff do what they can to keep the line going. They have good tea selections such as their 2 large for $5 deals or 2 mediums for $4. They also have a good selection of flavors as well. They taste ok, not the best I ever had but good. They always wind up getting our orders mixed up though which can be annoying. Pretty good place to come for a quick bubble tea fix.
We came across this place when we were in flushing. Let's talk about the interior. It was confusing to look at the menu. The screen kept switching so I had a hard time figuring out what they actually offer to their customers. Also, they have multiple screen that shows the different drinks they sell. You kind of need to stand there and look at one screen to see what they sell before you go to the next screen which show different slides of the other products. When I saw the area they were making the drinks, it grossed me out. It was really dirty. There was one girl making all those drinks. I did not feel like the area was hygienic. There were stains all over the wall. The buckets where they get the drinks from where filthy looking on the outside. So, I got the caramel bubble milk tea. It was suppose to be a cold drink. When i received it, it was warm. It was not cold at all. The taste was also blend. I definitely would not be coming back here if I'm ever in flushing and craving for bubble tea.
Would've never came in here to buy bubble tea if: 1) Quickly's, which is right next to it was closed & 2) if the rain wasn't hurting my face- then I would've walked to KFT or to TenRen's. This place is only one on side of the "store". The majority of the rest of the store is dominated by mini food stands selling kabobs and quick eats. It was a bit difficult choosing what I wanted to order as the numerous screens in front of me were flashing insane deals and flavors (with it only appearing for a few seconds at a time so I had to eye the screens for quite a while). I settled on Pineapple & Peach fruit tea with rainbow jelly. (This may be the only place that charges for rainbow jelly- especially when you're just trying to replace the tapioca in it). Regardless, onto the flavors. I got normal sugar (tasted like no sugar) and asked for light ice (they delivered with a cube of ice). The pineapple was mediocre & did not help hit the spot at all. I saved the peach tea for later and kept it in the fridge and I'm not sure if it was because a tad bit colder than the pineapple that it was just so refreshing or if it's because the peach tea is probably what people should opt to order.
I was pulled in by their 2 for $2 but then instantly regretted it the moment I got it in my mouth. It's silly to even call it milk tea. It's more like milk water plus maybe a leaf or two, proving it to contain some tea, with a side of bubbles.
I'm sorry but I think I could've spent my $2 more wisely…
My lesson: do not go for cheap things; it's no good
