Service was quick with the standard 7-eleven offerings like taquitos and sausages rotating near the counter but disappointingly half of the slurpee flavors were still very watery so I didn't have a lot to choose from. I will come back though because its a little more convenient than the one on amsterdam. And there is always that one skeevy person in the store that just flocks to places like 7-eleven. Today it was me. Interesting to see was that they sell fresh beef jerky here.
The only time I went to this place was for free slurpee day so I can't speak for how it is on other days. They seemed to have a pretty good system set up but it was a bit of a mess. They had the slurpee machine right in front (Which I feel was a bit of a mistake) plus two employees working the machines. While this did expidite the process, there was still a bottle neck of people as there was about a 5 foot space in which people were stuck trying to enter or exit the store. But I got a free Slurpee so I can't complain. As for the slurpees… it was DELICIOUS. I got the cherry one (as always) and as I walked back to my apartment, I immediately regretted not going back for a second slurpee because something about them is just that good.
