Gregory’s Coffee
“(unlike some other coffee shops with boxed goods *cough* Starbucks *cough*)
It's no surprise that I'm a GREGULAR (haha get it?!)”
“The store on 46th Street usually has three "single origin" coffees available that get replaced every six weeks or so.”
“I'm personally most partial to their cold brew, which is a bit sour with chocolatey notes.”

Cool coffee shop in Midtown that is a nice alternative to Starbucks! Kitchen with big window so you can see them making baked goods in house. Had a tasty decaf skim latte and carrot bread. Happy with both!
One of the best chai lattes I've had in a really long time.
I will be back when I'm in a spicy mood.
For those great reviews, all I need to ask is why? and how?
I came here during lunch time and there was a short line in front me. I felt grateful. Why? Cuz all those bakeries on the counter were staring at me and asked me to take them and leave. I knew! I knew. Finally, I did. I picked Cinnamon explode. I was like, YAH, EXPLODE.
And my heart explode when I got my first bite. It was horrible. It was dry, and tasted like chocolate. And the amount of chocolate inside is like minimum.
ARE YOU REALLY SERIOUSLY KIDDING ME?
I am hugely disappointed and basically I won't come back.
I mean, maybe the timing is not right but don't they know that bakeries are tasting s*t if they are not properly reserved? Ugh
Ugh
UGH
I was never a coffee drinker until I moved to the busy city that is New York!
Gregory's is a block from my job and worth the walk no matter how many degrees below zero the weather may be. I love the coffee and donuts!
The coffee is ok, nothing remarkable. They have a good selection of outlets and reliable wifi; I almost gave an extra star for that. I do wish the coffee was a little better though. I didn't try any of the baked goods.
My friend apparently comes here for coffee all the time which is how we ended up here on a Sunday afternoon. They close a bit early probably because it was a Sunday, but there's a Barnes and Nobles right down the street in case you get kicked out and want to continue on their conversation.
I dig the vibe here–very modern and cool for lack of a better description. Since we came in the late afternoon I decided to pass on the coffee though I heard that it's quite good here. I ended up getting a hot chocolate which was also pretty spot on. Def not the packaged stuff. They also have an iPhone for loyalty rewards, so that's worth getting if you're a big fan of this place
tldr; all in all, a cool coffee shop. cool vibes and good drinks
This is my go to coffee shop in Midtown.
Get the Latte with Whole Milk and you will be so happy with yourself!
what to order: caramel macchiato
tip: ask them to make it less sweet!!!
I personally love love love caramel.. but even so, the caramel macchiato they made me was pretty damn sweet. I could have sworn it was just caramel and not coffee. I wasn't sure if it was the sugar or caffeine that gave me energy.
Awesome service though! Really helpful and friendly staff.
