  1. Very cute and Instagram-friendly coffee shop hidden in the Polo store (it's on the 2nd floor)! It has everything needed to qualify a cool coffee shop – nice ambiance, great coffee/tea, good space with plenty seats, yet not crowded. I wish it just stays this way!

It's a much nicer spot than plaza hotel underground foot court for taking a break and taking some selfies after a Central Park walk or serval hours of crazy 5th Ave shopping =)

  2. I love to explore new coffee shops, so I was thrilled when I discovered that this cafe is inside of the Ralph Lauren store right on 5th Avenue. It is nice to read a book while watching the shoppers outside dart from store to store. I like that it is not on the first floor, so you don't have people wandering in and out – super distracting in most cafes.

The coffee is really well made, the service is great, and the atmosphere is charming. Would go back, for sure!

  3. This coffee shop is tucked away upstairs in the Ralph Lauren Polo Shop. It's so random and so wonderful. It's a standard coffee shop but with extremely good coffee served in cups and saucers with Ralph's Coffee on them. The cookies and muffins are incredible here as well. For the coffees, they do latte art that is excessive but still obviously treasured by everyone including myself.

This is a hidden gem coffee shop of New York in the midtown area where there aren't too many coffee shops around. There is some seating but it certainly isn't plentiful. The baristas who work here are very nice as well.

  4. What a pleasant surprise.  Came into Ralph Lauren to shop and then happened upon the coffee shop inside on the second floor. Adorable and yes pricey. A small iced coffee is 4 bucks but hey you're shopping on Fifth avenue. The decor is like a 1930's soda fountain, how fun!

  5. Gem of a cafe located on the second floor of the popular Polo Ralph Lauren store no 5th ave. A great place to retreat from the shopping madness of 5th ave. They offer a large variety of coffee and tea drinks in addition to baked goods and prepared sandwiches and lunch items. The decor and atmosphere is perfect for studying or catching up with a friend.

Skip the starbucks and stop in here next time you're getting your shop on on 5th ave!

  6. Secret gem of a cafe on top of the polo retail store.
Complete with tall ceilings, windows, white trim, and overall casual elegance summed in a small nook upstairs.

Brownie was good–rich and fudgy with toasted walnuts. The milk in my cappuccino was creamy, but felt the espresso was a bit bitter.  Nice barista.

Loved the vibe and would definitely return.

PS: the wifi is a joke.

  7. Solongo's mission: Locate all the coffee shops in Manhattan with 1. a good latte 2. a free wifi 3. outlets, and 4. a restroom. So far, most coffee shops only satisfy only 2 or 3 out of the 4 things I look for. If you are from out of town, you will be surprised at the lack of restrooms in Manhattan coffee shops.

And let me just say that Ralph's Coffee is a hidden gem that met all 4. The place itself feels almost like it is the speakeasy of coffee shops, since it is tucked in a Ralph Lauren store.

Unfortunately, the new setup decreased the seatings and access to an outlet. However, it is still worth coming in because of the good lattes and the handsome baristas haha.

I kind of wish they still had the old setup because that one was more remote-work friendly.

Recommended? Yes, definitely order "for here" and enjoy your coffee 🙂

  8. Mind blown… A coffee shop inside a clothing shop. Wow. The place was high in class. Definitely be feeling out of place in ma shorts ya heard? Haha! The workers are all model status too… Feel like there's a look-o-meter to get hired here. There's a decent amount of seating but the joint is always pumping so seats aren't always available.
I tried their Latte cuz I heard that was the thing to hit up. It was pretty good, but I wasn't blown away by it. Pretty avg in the taste department. The price was high but that was expected. If I'm being real I think half the hype is the fact that it's like a secret coffee store inside a store that not everyone knows bout. You know when you got a nice little secret hiding place and it makes you feel cool? Ya heard? But not bashing their coffee. It was solid.
