This Rite Aid is huge. Great selection of merchandise. Well stocked shelves. They always have the sale items in stock. Sometimes there is a long line at check out. That's par for all Rite Aid locations at certain times of the day. As with any store like this I find a new cashier and employees all the time. They don't always appear knowledgeable. They have always been honest with me about pricing though. This store is always clean. It's newer so it's a pleasant atmosphere. As long as weather permits, I take the walk to get there and haul my purchases home. It might be convenient for the people in the neighborhood. I think it should open earlier!
The better big chain drug store out of the two locals. The space is huge and they will have pretty much everything you want for your pharmacy needs. The Pharmacists rotate but they are all, and have been, excellent in knowledge and customer service. If something is not in stock they always have it the next day at noon.
The front of the store is a different matter. The lines are always long and the cashiers are really, really slow. I have been coming here for 6 years and this has always been a problem. Also, the ratio of cashiers to customers never makes sense: 1 cashier is working in the early evening when the place is mobbed, 3 are working in the early afternoon when the place is empty.
All in all, not terrible. The prices are far more reasonable than the other place. That and the quality pharmacy make is the reason to go here rather than there.
