Even if the line is long, you are in and out of there in no time. A New Yorkers dream. Great cold brew coffee. Nice area to hang out or get work done.
The coffee is awesome here. The staff is cool, the service is quick and I love the ambience of the place. Gregory's is something different than the other chain…a breath of fresh air, if you will. If you're going to go for anything here, go for the red-eye coffee. Energy-wise: you'll be set for the day.
The prices are, no doubt, way too high. I'd come here every day…but maybe I'll just limit my visits to paydays…
My friend and I dropped by Gregory's Coffee for a quick cold brew on our way to the subway, and it while it wasn't among the best brews I have sampled, it was nonetheless A-OK. However concentrated though, the barista could have filled the cup at least 3/5 of the way with the brew; she barely filled half of it.
Great spot for some finely-crafted espresso beverages and comfy seating. We've come here a few times on weekends to plan upcoming trips, and it has generally been a chill environment, save the occasional screaming small human. We last stopped in on Mothers' Day, and they had some complementary brownie samples available in light of the occasion.
I had a medium latte, and it was massive for the price. I feel like a medium here might be a large elsewhere. The espresso is obviously quality, the overall latte product smooth. Splenda, my sweetener of choice, was available, which his not always the case. They also had Sugar in the Raw.
My boyfriend had the Morning Boost smoothie that contained so much granola, I would nearly classify it as a solid. He really enjoyed it.
4.5 stars, really.
I usually get coffee from other spots in the area, but when I stop by because of convenience, I'm always satisfied. The lines in the morning are annoying, but they have fresh baked pastries that are unique and I think that's what sets them apart. Definitely better than Starbucks.
Their Aeropressed single origins are pretty good. The espresso here is very robust here but a charred note? I usually get a cortado and some sugar or a cappuccino (very smooth here). Their Walnut Banana Bread is really good, not too dense. They also have a giant Rice Krispie treat made with Chex, which is my guilty pleasure.
They woo me now and again by dropping $2 in my LevelUp account every few months.
There is a lot of space to sit/work with laptops, but they are usually taken. I have to say this place has some of the happiest workers I've ever encountered, they are always smiling and friendly to everyone! They're never impatient when waiting for your order and also offer suggestions if you're new. Lastly, the tall brinette lady that walks around (manager) is also very friendly and warm to everyone. In fact, she made my Aeropressed coffee one day! Thank you!

Man does this place get busy! Line was out the door the first time I visited. Can't go wrong with their cold brew 🙂 glad I found a local coffee spot!
I stopped Gregory's coffee to kill some time before my class started nearby. I found them on my LevelUp app and saw I had a $2 credit to use so that drew me in. Normally I would just grab a typical black ice coffee but I saw they had a 'honey badger' cold brew available; soy milk, cold brew, honey. This was a very interesting mixture because I would have never thought of putting honey in my coffee. The atmosphere of the interior is very modern/hipster-esq; one could easily see that from the brand's logo. I saw a lot of people just hanging out inside with their laptops open so it seems like a good environment to be studying or catching up on any type of work.
First time at this location. I had $5 from Level Up app. I Ordered the Dirty Chai. So good. This place is very clean, plenty of seating, lots of pastries, lots of lighting, bathroom and free wifi. Great place to chill after work, weekends or just to grab a cup of joe. Very cool coffee place in the city.
