My ventures have been Mexican food heavy from the Sunset Park neighborhood of Brooklyn and it extends to some traditional Mexican grocer's as well. Plaza offers some of the best produce anywhere and at a very reasonable price. From the hot peppers to the cilantro, tomatoes and canned goods, Plaza is an excellent place to shop for home consumption.
Hot sauce options are few but well positioned in price, chorizo and the queso not only found its way to my breakfast frying pan, but on the grill over the weekend as well for some BBQ. Staff was so helpful and I could not help but purchase the cactus ears and a few other non American typical grocery items. Having lived in Mexico for a few months, some of these items remind me of those days in Rosarito.
