  1. Muy deliciosa!  Very authentic Mexican street tacos with many varieties of offal. The pastor and lengua were really excellent. The spicy pork was not very spicy but the green salsa made up for that. Luckily they gave us extra sauce so I can dip chips in it at home – so good. You have a choice of eat in ( counter of the truck) or take out (the wall opposite the truck). And they sell true Mexican sodas, which are made with sugar instead of corn syrup (yuck). I recommend the grapefruit soda. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other taco offerings.

  2. I can't get enough of their chicken tacos with green sauce. OMG
Seriously I want some right now, there so light on the stomach but so juicy an perfect for anytime of the day. Definitely a must try ESP for $1.50 it's no brainer.
    Very professional

  3. To stay or to go? Sure, I'll stay, stand and eat along the fence, like what everyone else is doing.

Find the guy(s) with the pad and put your order in. While you wait, enjoy the smell of the delicious meats being cooked in that packed truck, while watching over others standing next to you taking bite after bite of those cute little tacos. Salivating. And then, all of a sudden, you hear your name. Argh, my turn.

The Spicy Pork are my all time favorite. Soft pieces of spicy flavorful pork that leaves the corner of my lip burning every single time. Their sauces just adds even more awesomeness to every bite. SO good, I almost forgot my iced cold bottle of Jarritos.

    DONE.

  4. It has been too long since I've had tacos from the Tacos El Bronco Truck. Is it me or are the tacos here better than the actual restaurant…? I originally wanted to get a torta from that place down the block, but I felt less guilty having a couple of tacos instead. The tacos here are fresh, delicious and cheap. My faves here are the pastor and lengua; they have a good amount of flavor and cooked just right. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to get tacos here, but if you're in the area, give them a try!

  5. This beloved Sunset Park taco truck is always parked, always open, and always swarmed with people!

When the Yelp listing for the truck is cloven from the Yelp listing for the restaurant (yelp.com/biz/tacos-el-br…), that's when you know you've made it. Just kidding, this truck has always been a madhouse and could care less about Yelp.

They have fun tacos like lengua (on the "normal" end of the spectrum) and veal head (which I'll sadly never try as they seem to run out quickly).  Al pastor and bistec are safe, easy bets. Each taco is under $2, but half the size of the $2.50 street tacos I'm used to. Like any respectable taco truck, they offer a variety of condiments, from pico de gallo to charred jalapenos, for you to pile on yourself.

Guys in reflective vests will take down your order as you wait on line. They also deliver to cars: People drive up and call in with their orders. It's a pretty thoughtful system for perfectly utilitarian taco access — the greatest good for the greatest number. Did YOU know that Bentham's treatises on ethics and morality were really about tacos?

  6. Best taco truck evahhhh!

Forget those trucks you see when you get off your station, if you're planning to go taco trucking this one is a must. Yes, it's out of your way. No, it is NOT the same.

Selections of course has the usual pollo, pastor, carnitas or even lengua (tongue), but Yo! They got tripe, cow head, pork stomach, pig ears….whaaattttt?! You'd think some Asian dude was in the back, all they're missing is chicken feet lol. Do not discount that tho, they're pretty tasty.

And pretty cheap. Won't break the bank. At all. Even with cab, I mean uber, fare or train token (?), you'll still be left with change in your pocket.

I ain't trippin'. Definitely worth the trip.

  7. The last time my French teacher hosted a get together, I walked right past this place and made a mental note to try it afterward. An entire baguette, a plate of cured meats, and two bowls of cubed cheese afterward, I had to pass.

This time, I came prepared. I stopped by before the get-together, and I ordered the tenderest lengua taco I've had. It was well worth the additional 25 cents over the other tacos. I'd highly recommend having a taco or two if you're in the neighborhood. The tacos aren't too filling, but that just means you get to try more! Worst case, you're out $10 and you've tried 5-6 different meats!

  8. One of the best late night food options that Brooklyn has to offer. Be aware that the taco truck gets much busier later in the night when bars and clubs close up.

I shared five different tacos with my friends. First off, their sauces are some of the best I've tried. The green salsa is creamy and savory. The red salsa is smokey and spicy. I'd use them on nearly anything.

The most interesting taco I tired was the veal head. As a Russian, cow brain pate would occasionally make an appearance with dinner. This allowed me to recognize the flavor and determine which part of the head that the taco meat was made with. The texture was a bit softer than the other meats we tried.

All in all, I'd recommend any of the tacos here. They have several options such as veal head, beef stomach, and beef intestine that which I don't typically see offered. Lastly, I'd definitely recommend some of their horchata which is rich, creamy, and delicious!
