“Each Bon Bon is a work of art- they are shiny, pearly, some even have speckles of gold and irredescent glow and so beautiful.”

“Bourbon Maple Pecan (Milk) – The addition of the pecans added a nice crunchy texture, which made this bonbon stand out from the others.”

“The bonbons are a little on the pricey side, so I did not bother getting the cute gift box (looks like a storybook!)”

  1. Do we eat them or just stare at their beauty, I'm so confused.  Honestly they look to good to eat.

Not cheap  but the finer things in life never are.

  2. In love with this place. I love the location, the store setup, the staff, the packaging of products, and of course the DELICIOUS (and very pretty) little bon bons.

Doubted they would be so tasty since they look so nice, you know? Like maybe they're just easy on the eyes but taste like plastic. But no, each bon bon's got a unique blend of flavors that actually leave you wanting more.

    Man. Okay, I gtg.

    Ordering some right now.

  3. This tiny little shop is worth the visit. All chocolates are made in house (you can see the magic happening behind an opaque window). There is a clear emphasis on artistic creation, and these were the most beautifully painted bon bons I've ever seen, and believe me I've seen my share. There are tradition and creative fillings for these and the truffles. There's also about a dozen varieties of caramels.

Only con- it's very expensive ($3.50/bon bon). I would come back for a special treat, but I don't think I'd buy a pack of them.

  4. Delicious but expensive!    The truffles are delicious and a feast for the eyes – but the price is ridiculous.  They would do themselves a favor by lowering the price slightly as it would increase the popularity… The chocolates are good- bit i cant justify them for the price.

  5. Honestly, not that they had a bad chocolates, but I feel like this place is little bit overpriced.

My sister and I visited this place after our dinner. (Yes we love getting sweets after our meals). The presentation and the display of the chocolates were absolutely gorgeous. I have never seen such a shinny and magical looking chocolates ever in my life. I was very intrigued by the shape, the color, the design of each and individual chocolates.

This place offers a lot of different kind of chocolates with many different flavors. The name of each individual chocolates were very straight forward in terms of what ingredients/ flavors they have/taste. (I.e. black sesame passion, wild strawberry, sea-salt caramel, PB&JELLY and so on)

As mentioned, I am not saying that the chocolates tasted bad, but I thought it was little bit over priced.

  6. Small little shop with a pop of color. The store is stacked with chocolates and sweet goods in their show case and all over the shelves. The showcase was the eye-catcher. It contained a great variety of delectable bon-bons. They were breath taking. Such a fabulous and flawless job on the colors, patterns, and taste. It is expensive for something that's about 1×1 inch.

I tried the Vero, sea salt caramel, passionate fruit. Vero was definitely tastier. I'll come back for the other flavors to give them all a try

  7. Boyfriend decided to surprise me because I told him how I wanted to try it when we walked past it last time. You have the option of either having the chocolates placed in a pretty box ($25 for 6) or just getting them in a plastic bag. You should definitely keep the box to put small misc. items! The chocolate Bon Bons honestly look too pretty to even eat. They also last a good while without going bad.

The Dulce De Leche was alright, nothing really special. The birthday cake was really good! The outside shell taste is really strong. The New York New York taste like a reese piece with a hard pretzel inside. The Black Sesame and Passion taste like a sesame rice ball, expect it's cold and it's sour. The Speculoos S'mores was good, the marshmallow was soft and fluffy and the cracker was crunchy. I forgot how the strawberry one tasted like LOL.

  8. I seriously don't know what I'm going to do when I leave New York for good next month and won't be able to get these whenever I want anymore… First off they are easily the most beautiful chocolate bonbons I've ever seen in my life.  Like seriously – nothing even comes close to them.  Secondly, they actually taste amazing… and I've had my share of chocolates.  The flavors that Susanna creates are also mindblowing – PB&J, birthday cake, malted chocolate… The only thing is the price.. but I'm just going to emphasize the fact that it's completely worth it!!
