I first tried this at the suggestion of a bartender in Sullivan County NY some 3 or more years ago. I took it over ice for the chill but drank it quickly because ITS THAT GOOD. Since then I've come across it a few times in other bars. I'm always happy to see it and I always order it.
It was started by a guy who worked on Wall Street in his prior life. He then went to France to learn about wines and spirits. Somehow he decided to use honey as a base for the vodka. I don't know what gave him the idea, but it's resulted in an interesting vodka. Well worth a try if you see it on a shelf.
It's a 5 star vodka. But it's a 3 star price, beautiful bottle notwithstanding. So 4 stars for the vodka. I haven't tried their other products.
Honey Vodka. Who knew?
