When the Weekly Yelp is about ice cream, I hear the music of the Pied Piper. Frozen Sweet is proof that rolled ice cream isn't just gimmicky. The ice cream here is rich and creamy, can be enhanced by add ins and toppings, and like icing on the cake, even decorated with an adorable cookie. Everything is made to order in this small shop, and you can watch the two workers smash your additions into a ball of cream that is scraped on a cold metal plate until it's the thickness of a crepe, sliced into three and rolled. It's like a mini show, with a sweet bonus at the end. The matcha I had had a good green tea flavor, and married well with the lychee and blueberry I chose to mix in. I think sometimes less is more and though one price gets you unlimited toppings, I opted for the red bean along with some rainbow colored mochi, and some condensed milk as the syrup. Perhaps the worker forgot the latter, as I tasted none, but the ice cream without had the perfect sweetness for me. And to top it all, I added the matcha panda cookie that reminded me of a Tellietubbie and was way too cute to eat. The serving size seems small for $7, but ended up being filling because of the creamy thickness of the ice cream. You are also paying for labor.
Frozen Sweet is a small shop, with only 4 stools that seemed made for a toddler's tush. Eat too many cups of the good stuff here and your tush might spill over the edge of these stools like the top crust of a pie. Take your dessert to go, or if you're lucky, score a spot on the little bench outside. The place is clean, and can get cramped during busy times. A fun place to go for your ice cream, unless you're with someone indecisive. Service was affable.
If it wasn't for the price, defn 5 stars. $7?!! This is ice cream, not the cure for cancer or HIV medicine. Do you accept Blue Cross Blue Shield? Aetna?
The ice cream is good, the texture remarkable to taste. The one here is very creamy; you can strongly taste the milk/cream, it's heavy but very smooth on the palette. Although, after a few minutes in the concrete jungle, it will melt and the rolls will transform into tiny droopy pillars in your cup (the melted puddle at the bottom tastes better imo)
Sawadeeka – THIS HAS LYCHEE OH NO. Yea I didn't pay attention to the menu.. GOOD THING I LOVE LYCHEE!! The thai iced tea flavor is so pure and luscious, and juicy bursts of lychee are all over the place – fireworks of flavors. If you like thai iced teas you'll enjoy this 🙂
You R my Cup of Tea – Matcha Green Tea and Oreo Cookies, has there ever been a better combination in all of history (musta met on Match, lol get it? "Did you just do a pun on mah show?" – Jimmy Fallon as Barry Gibb on SNL)
Note: Only 2 stations, so if there's more than 2 ppl you're gonna wait at least 5-8 min, but it's normally empty
Panda Cookie FTW

I don't really have a sweet tooth but my best friend wanted to try this place because of the unique ice cream. The place is tiny and there are only about 5 stools inside. They "roll" and mix the ice cream right in front of you with the toppings you want. It takes about 5 minutes. You can either make your own combination or they have some suggestions.
I had the taro ice cream with pineapple and mango mixed in with mochi on top. My friend had the chunky monkey, with vanilla ice cream mixed in with Nutella and some cookies, I think. It was really cool how they made the ice cream but the flavors weren't really exceptional. It was just a really heavy ice cream with toppings.
I think this place has won me over. Great base flavor options and such an extensive list of toppings and mix-ins to choose from!
The store itself is quite small, wouldn't really eat here because it's get pretty cramped. There's a bench right outside that you can sit on to enjoy the ice cream.
They offer unlimited toppings here, which is a much bigger deal than some other ice cream roll places because they have SO MANY TOPPINGS TO PICK FROM!!! Sorry, got so excited that I just had to shout it.
The girl putting the toppings on my ice cream did so with such care and concentration. And it came out looking so cute!! I honestly was wondering how they would get all the toppings I chose to fit, but they got it done!
My new favorite rolled ice cream joint (for now, since they keep opening new ones).
Good Ice Cream. Wish they were just a bit faster, and had those cool decorations on the photos. Quality rolled ice cream, definitely hits the spot. Seven dollars seems sort of reasonable, maybe the cost of buying desert in the city, but comparatively, I could get a larger awesome desert from another ice cream shop with similar taste and macros, for the same price. I almost feel rolled ice cream is a bit of a gimmick, tastes the same for me. I hope this four star review doesn't keep you from trying, maybe if it works for you, give them five stars.
Pretty underwhelming. A friend and I split the matcha green tea ice cream with red bean paste mixed in and it was decent. Definitely not worth the price, though, and it's not something I'd go back for. Which is a shame because I love green tea ice cream.
I was also annoyed because we wanted to sit outside and enjoy the weather while eating our cold treat, but there were random girls on the bench that weren't patrons of the shop. Wish they had some kind of sign or were more mindful of their customers. Overall, it was over-hyped and I won't be returning.
On par with 10below. Presentation isn't as neat, but it's the same concept–a cup of rolled ice cream with unlimited toppings for $7. I think the quality of ice cream is basically the same.
Definitely not as crowded so if you're really craving rolled iced cream and the wait at 10below is crazy, just walk down Mott to Frozen Sweet (~10 mins?).
Tiny little store front for Thai ice cream rolls. They're pricey but you can put as many toppings on your flavor as you want. I didn't know what to do with that so I got a cutesy cookie for show and some strawberries which was really just one large berry sliced and placed artistically on the rolls.
The snickers flavor is good. It's 9 for vegan flavors. So glad I eat real cream! It's not super comfortable in here with hard wooden stools that are too high and barely any shelving that just fits a ice cream cup. But I guess that's the point?
