Eh…eh?…I don't know I didn't dig it. First off, this place has been half a dozen restaurants over the last dozen years if not more, and I swear they still havent replaced the rugs because the FIRST THING I noticed and couldn't let go for half an hour was the old rug/dirty rug smell. Seriously, it was horrible, yet subtle…but there. Not good though none-the-less.
Ok the food, appetizer was just ok. Tuna app, but honestly it was like an Amateur Appetizer. Very bulky, not enough flavors, just blah. Not bad, just not good.
Entree's: The wife got a steak sandwich…and I can honestly say although it was London Broil on top it was very good. I on the other hand got the 10 oz skirt steak, cooked rare, with crab cakes. What I actually got was different, for lack of a better word. As they say: "A picture is worth a thousand words', but unfortunately I can't put a picture of my meal on here or I would! The steak was just so small, i'm talking they should have said it was a 10 inch steak, not 10 oz…and the crabcakes were so delicately prepared they didn't even have any taste!!! And they were not lump crabmeat, they were just very finely chopped leftover crabmeat.
Here is my last stand on this place, and if you read any of my other 50+ posts I don't think I have EVER complained or mentioned price othetr than at Morton's…so here it goes. The place is so overpriced its actually pathetic. Sorry, had to say it. No way you should have appetizers that don't drop below 12 bucks, and entree's up above 25…and a sliced london broil open faced steak sandwhich that costs 19 dollars!
I won't go back, food was ok, but not worth it. For the 140 bucks I spent I could have gone somewhere memoriable.
