Towanda Kilbane
My first time here I had arrived just before they opened, and I was confused because I didn't know what their closed storefront looked like (apparently a graffiti'd garage door, so there's that for you). The barista was already smiling when he saw me, a very nice and cheerful dude. I've only tried iced coffee but the stuff is legit. The place is extremely spacious, with seats all the way in the back. It's good for working, or just chillin' as a solo coffee drinker. There's a TV above the bar, which makes it apt that the place turns into a bar at night but alas, they close before nightfall.
A heads up: they don't have soy milk, only almond milk. Also, no coffee menu.
Special mention of the fried chicken sandwich which was soooo mouthwateringly delicious. Sooo effin' good. It's totally unexpected of a coffee shop and I don't mind it at all.
