  1. Nice place to pop in for a tasty smoothie or juice. The selection is great from ready made bottles to freshly prepared smoothies made from locally sourced ingredients. The staff is helpful and upbeat and knows their way around a juicer.

  2. I love that there are so many places to get fresh juices and smoothies in NYC.

My friend introduced me to Juice Generation and I absolutely loved Mr. Greengenes: mango, banana, kale, spinach, raw agave ice with your choice of: soy, almond or hemp milk.

I was impressed with the selection. You could also purchase healthy snacks and meal options.

  3. Not sure if it was because I came in late winter and the fruits weren't in season or if it's the difference in workers, but I thought my smoothies at the uptown locations were better. The smoothies here just didn't wow me like the ones in uptown or midtown. I didn't go "Wow I need to trek back here from my office to get this" like the other places.

The service is friendly and you get your order pretty quickly. Place is pretty small so don't plan on eating the foods here during peak lunch hours.

  4. Excellent Acai bowls, the macaroons were a little 'worthy' and probably not worth the bother, but that's my own fault, if I want gooey sweet stuff, I shouldn't really order it in a health driven juice bar.

As far the Acai bowl goes though, excellent – I feel healthier already.

    Nice staff too.

  5. Omg!! RIP PB Acai bowl! What happened to this heavenly bowl of goodness? The first PB Acai bowl I had was around port authority and I remember thinking its was the greatest new thing for pretentious good lovers! No more! It used to be a large juicy portion of toppings: bananas, cacao nibs, a healthy dose of smooth, creamy peanut butter and the smooth silky acai blended with peanut butter and almond milk. Now they reduced the size of the bowl, increased the price, cut the portion of peanut butter into a 1/4, and added freaking strawberries! WHAT!? You don't add tartness/sourness to this dessert, I'm sorry! NO! NOOOOOO!!! What will I do now when I'm craving an acai bowl? Oh right… make it myself.

  6. *** Acai Bowl Review, Helpful Staff, Bar seating ***

This was my first time coming to Juice Generation. I've never ordered from them before so I was awkwardly standing in front of the menu for quite some time. The staff was helpful and very patient while I went back and forth on my order. I finally decided on the PB Acai Bowl and what a great decision it was! It was extremely filling and so delicious. It cost a little over $10 which is a bit steep; keep in mind it is acai (which is not found in the states). Very healthy and I'll be sure to come back and visit to try their smoothies. There is limited bar seating here.

  7. Juice generation is truly delicious. Their products are well made and high quality. My favorite smoothie is the Joyful Almond – tastes like a milkshake! Also, the acai bowls are very good. They also sell chia bars – chocolate pb is the bestttt. My only complaint is that it's pretty expensive. I am inclined to try to recreate their products at home.

  8. Good amount of choices of juices, smoothies, bowls, etc. Place is clean, quick, typical juice price range $7-12. Went really quick when I passed by instead of coffee to get some veggies in lol
