Surviving on a tight budget is possible in this neighborhood, with the huge dollar quantities of ripe produce and roasted soynuts at $2.99/lb, conveniently divided into about a third of a pound each. Thanks to Liberty Apple Farm, I can eat for less than $4/day—and I lift!
