Every Saturday morning,
my bubby and I
take up one of the three tables (not including the counter)
at Little Coffee Shop.
Fresh coffee, bagels with cream cheese,
delicious frittatas with veggies and sausage,
the cutest pumpkin pies,
or apple crumbs,
with more fresh coffee
await us.
Glenn is the best,
and the Egg Special is proof
that this little shop is full of big surprises,
like the delicious turkey roasted in house
and the pork loin
and the apple cider
and more fresh coffee.
We'll sit for hours and
meet friends
and make friends
and enjoy the good punk rock or 80s tunes
and drink more coffee.

This place used to be called ChocoLatte, I stopped going when it was ChocoLatte because the service was just horrible and if you asked for a large latte, they would only put 1 shot of espresso.
Now for the Little Coffee Shop review!
After the name change, service sky rocketted. Large lattes taste like a large latte not large milk with a shot of espresso. Even the bagels taste better.
They have a Starbucks feel to it (including the prices) but with a Ridgewood, Queens twist to it.
Keep doing a great job LCS!
Little Coffee Shop is among my top favorite coffee shops in Ridgewood for the fresh sandwiches and the delicious Red Eye coffee that they make for me as a special request but isn't on their menu. One of my all time favorite sandwiches is the smoked Lox that is super fresh, made to order and priced right. Shop is small and can get crowded and cramped quite fast but in the early dawn & evening hours you can usually sit comfortably. The staff is friendly and very personable and know your order as soon as you walk in the door.
