  1. I decided to try this place out and had a mean green smoothie ($8 plus tax). The mean green is mostly fruit (banana, pineapple) with some spinach and kale and verrrrry tasty. Although I enjoyed it, it is not cheap and smoothies like this should kept in the "treat" category because they are high in sugar and calories. FYI the Mean Green is 325 but Liquiteria DOES NOT post calorie counts for their smoothies in the cafe. Be careful as some of the smoothies are pushing 500-600 calories.

Knocking off a star because they forgot about my order even though it wasn't busy. Employees were polite, though.

  2. I came here on Sunday after abstaining from Wings and Beer at a Bridal Party "Getting to Know You" (queue in the King & I music……..) Brunch. Not a fan of beer and wings I can pick at but I gots to be beach ready in a day for some Honduras action.

Speaking of eating healthy, I came to the 8th st, West Village-ish location of Liquiteria. Always packed of ppl, I dared to get the "Green" Monster smoothie, which is OH SO YUMMY with berries and protein. By the way, its actually not green, its a more pink/ red color. Looks like it should have beets in it but it doesn't.

Good size and pricey for $7 a pop but its a nice indulgence once in a blue!

  3. So good and so convenient for me… But sometimes when I order the smoothies with almond butter or anything that consistency … It doesn't get mixed properly. But it still tastes good and the service is usually really good. There is one cashier that's not the friendliest but no ones ever been rude. The crew actually making the smoothies are always smiling and cheerful which is a huge plus because this place is packed in the mornings and we all know how bright and cheery New Yorkers are in the morning (insert sarcasm). Love this location even though I miss the old Filipino guys that served me dollar pizza at 3am

  4. This place is awesome. I've been looking for a reliable health-oriented food place for a while, and I think this is the one. Such great service, and such amazing products. I've tried the açai parfait and the banana bread French toast. Both were amazing and I am planning on coming back quite often.

  5. Came in on Sunday post hot yoga, and clearly friends this was a good decision. For those who frequent Modo on 6th and 10th – keep Liquiteria in mind after sweating your soul out on a yoga mat. I am a big fan of the bulldozer, it reminds me of eating a liquid Reese's peanut butter cup, but not as bad for you – or so I tell myself.

The hangover cure, is actually that friends. Maybe you got a little squirely the night before and your grasping onto your dignity … or not … we've all been there. But the hangover cure is going to bring you back to a good space. Mentally and yes, physically. Doesn't mean you might not have to make a trip to the MD, just sayin' …

Staff couldn't have been more pleasant, one of the gents on Sunday was even kind of enough to top up my smoothie noticing I had housed it down like a fat kid in heat. Now that's service. As what I assume will be an epic NYC summer is upon us shortly … this is the place to go. Also I want to note the premises were impeccably clean, really top marks Team Liquiteria!

  6. It was a very very hot summer day. I was parched and good thing Liquiteria happened to be right around the corner! I popped in and ordered the Mean Green, which is very refreshing and light! It was clean, no wait, and friendly staff!

  7. Had the chance to stop here after hitting up a nearby gym. Opted for the Power Berry smoothie. It wasn't overly sweet but a very yummy and refreshing breakfast on a hot summer day. Super clean inside, friendly staff and, best of all, they move quickly! Limited seating but overall a pleasant place to relax for a few minutes if you can find a spot.
It was a $7 smoothie but for the area, fresh ingredients and quality, I can overlook that. I may even go back tomorrow after the gym again!

  8. Disappointed in the service at this location these days, especially since I come so often…. The past two times it's taken over 20 min to get my order, and they had to ask me for my order again. People who came in way before me got their order before mine. Unfortunate.
Certainly no customer service to make up for it either, and I'm pretty sure a manager was at the cashier trying to close out the registers tonight, not making the customers a priority. Come on y'all…
