Ah! For the past two years, I have been clamoring for a really good coffee place to open near work. The good but rude Vineapple is close, but not close enough.
When I was walking to work earlier this week and saw that a Gregory's had opened up a few minutes from my office, I was ecstatic.
Gregory's is what Starbucks would be if their coffee didn't taste like burnt ass. Employees are really friendly, they all wear uniforms, but most importantly–the coffee is excellent. Well-roasted, reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious.
I will definitely be back. One star off for their beans, which do not have a roast date. I'd buy them, but how can I know if they're fresh if you don't tell me when they're roasted? Guess I'll stick to Stumptown and Cafe Grumpy for that.
