  1. Came here for a quick smoothie stop – decent cleanliness, standard smoothie in terms of taste (I like that they give you lots of options, but didn't like that you couldn't create your own), and good for if you want to pick up a small snack as well. I shared the mangoni smoothie, which I'd say was priced fairly since we got a big portion, but it was a bit too sweet for my personal taste. Still, the ingredients are fresh and they make it right in front of you which is nice. If you go there often enough, definitely make sure to pick up a loyalty card.

  2. Located in the corner of Smilers grocery store. Prices are a couple dollars cheaper than Juice Generation across the street. For that, you are forgoing taste and quality.

  3. Stopped by to get something healthy and this was the place since I don't like chain stores. Awesome and fresh smoothies along with many other choices. It's really a small hole in the wall with an area to sit for 2. Seating is limited to15 mins. though.  I can appreciate that but when there are no other customers, please don't rush them out so they can enjoy their purchase. They appear to have a lot of regulars since we observed customers being called by their first names. Great place for detoxing.

  4. Love this place. I go here several times a week to get my juice on.

The staff is always friendly and have recommendations or suggestions. They also have a small selection of already made healthy snacks available.

If they do not have something you want on the menu they will do their best to make it for you.

  5. I ordered the peanut butter Acai bowl. I had weird vibes upon entering this place. The juice bar is located in a grocery store and while the 4 workers were preparing my bowl they were laughing and looking at me. It was just an uncomfortable experience and the bowl was not very tasty.

  6. Solid hole-in-the-wall juice bar. I've been a smoothie/acai bowl kick lately and have been trying most of the high-end juiceries as well as this nearby joint, and definitely found Healthy Corner to have the most reasonable price point. While the smoothies don't always have as luxurious of ingredients as other places, I definitely recommend the acai bowl here over any of the other juice places. It's big and the ingredients are pretty much the same, but there's more of it! Eat it while it's fresh though- I think this applies to any place, but I came back one night since I had to rush somewhere and the leftovers were a goopy mess. Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying more of the smoothies – they are a steal at $5-$6 and better than the chain stores (IE Jamba).

  7. I discovered this little gem when Juice Generation was closed one night and I'm so glad I did. There's only one machine that does all the juicing so they're prompt with taking your order but you'll have to wait a little as they juice one order at a time and clean the machine after each drink. It's a very very small corner space but enough to bring you delicious drinks and healthy food/snacks at an affordable price. As someone new to jucing, I randomly picked their Green Kale Juice. I was blown away with how amazing it tasted. Well, ever since then I'm addicted to green juice. I go back and forth between my favorite Kale juice and their garden juice. I went from hating celery and now loving celery because of this place. All their prices are a few dollars cheaper than Juice Generation and that's just another reason to love it so much.

There can't be all pros and no cons though, their juice is too warm for me sometimes and I don't even like cold drinks. However, I wished they used some colder fruits to extract from. They also close early if they decide that "business is too slow" so maybe call before you make your trip here.

Edit: -1 star, I recently came here again and I was not pleased with the service this time. There were no other customers around and there was three people working behind the counter. The staff here plays around too much and they are clearly not taking anything seriously. I understand juicing takes awhile but they took way too long to make my juice and they made me the wrong thing. I was pretty pissed about it. I was about to walk behind the counter and tell them to let me make it. Ugh.

P.S They have a loyalty rewards stamp card which I'm sure I'll fill up soon if I keep craving for these juices.

  8. Tucked away in an assuming corner of an assuming convenience store in an assuming corner of an unassuming neighborhood known as Hell's Kitchen is this unassuming juice bar that exceeds…assumptions.

The portions are at least a few ounces more, while the prices are several dollars less, than similar items offered at neighboring juice bars . What's not to love? The Green Kale Juice is my recommendation for all that is leafy and heart-healthy.
