Alright, I have converted.
Thanks to the girl who was incredibly helpful and supportive during my three-day cleanse, I have since found myself absolutely hooked on Juice Press. They offer a great selection of interesting, nutrient-rich juices and they have put together a solid menu for the cleanse.
For the best selection of choices, this is your spot.
This place is really good, but at 10 dollars for a juice drink, it better be. The lady at the counter saw me a little surprised and she helped me justify it because it was all organic. Usually I wouldn't pay that for a smootie Juice drink but I was craving one. I had the ginger Hawaiian drink and I recommend that. I am not sure that I would come back because of the price, but if you can swing 10 bucks for a drink, then I say go for it.
This place is pretty great. Check out the menu to decide on what you need/want. after sweating out my toxins at the russian & turkish bathhouse, i opted for the mother earth with all kinds of amazing super greens like kale, dandelion & swiss chard. if you are into juices and smoothies – this spot is worth checking out. the menu is extensive and the juice is damn good.
I tried their Cleanse program and it is about $53 a day with 6 juices. Every juice I have tried is fresh, clean and healthy. Even the Green juice tastes pretty good, to my surprise.
I don't necessarily feel I lose weight afterwards but I definitely feel healthier and my body is cleaner internally. Would like to do it again!
If you like to drink your 5 or more a day, you'll be good at Juice Press. However, if you have shallow pockets, you may never want to go for it.
The healthfulness and nutrition-packed quality of these products, made daily and to order, well, I think it's worth it.
With so many of these around NYC, you can get your fix almost anywhere. I feel better just writing about it, and I felt awesome after drinking their juice and smoothie concoctions. Great choices for those on the go to tide you over until you decide to consume some solid food. In the meantime, they have raw and veg food to buy, as well.
After an 8-hour hiatus of no food in my tummy and post-workout, I stumbled into Juice Press in search of a healthy meal. It is a hole in the wall spot that offers many healthy alternatives (so I didn't have to dig deep for willpower). I know nothing about going raw or eating raw, except that it's supposed to be very healthy. In looking at the different options in front of me, I ended up choosing a Quinoa Kale Salad (~$11). Sound super healthy? It was.
It seemed pretty small when I purchased it, but once I started eating, I realized the quantity was much larger than it appeared to be so I needed to split it into two meals. The first meal seemed all right and it wasn't difficult to put each bite down. The next morning, I finished it off and it was really hard to take each bite.
Wouldn't necessarily choose to come back here next time. I'd rather do some sort of juice cleanse than go back to the Quinoa Kale Salad.
I'm terribly upset that i like this place. I mean, $10 for a small smoothie? BUT IT'S SO GOOD. I hope my affinity for this place decreases because at this rate, i may go broke drinking tiny delicious smoothies.
I have become a JP regulars and shop regularly in several stores. Best service I have had is on Mott St. It is pricey, but they have stayed pretty true to their core values since starting. Love that there are lower glycemic options here. Wish there were even more. Love the simple green salad, Egyptian red lentil soup, FMinty get Monty smoothie and Recovery lemon ginger shots.
