  1. Location: On columbus Ave, this place is easier to find. I stepped in and got greeted by their staffs. The place has two tables and also serves coffees for people. But it is counter coffee, a brand I do not have a crap.

Food: I felt like their foods are good but not excellent to pursuade me to order.. like the monkey bread, which seems to be too big to finish. And brownie looks bad but FOODBABY suggested it was good. ( I felt like FOODBABY had different attitude against me with regard to food taste, cuz what he likes often ended up something i hate most)

I had their macaron tho. It was alright not too sweet tho! I would say I love it.

    Service: nice!
    Price: 10 dollar for 4 macaron…

Overall: a 3.5 star . nothing bad but also nothing fancy about it.

  2. Macarons are all over Manhattan these days.  It's hard to not walk the streets and find some place that sells the confection.  This place is a small cafe and it has a decent selection of about 15-20 different flavors everyday.

The quality is on par with other establishments in Manhattan although I would say their selection is more limited.  The flavors are good and the macarons are exactly as they should be, soft in the center with a slight crust on the outside.  There are better choices in the city but this place is a good option if you don't want to leave the UWS.

  3. Sadly, they no longer carry Blue Bottle coffee, which really bums me out.

However, they still keep me going with Counter Culture coffee and scrumptious pastries. (I like their pastries more than the macarons, to be honest!)

  4. Forget Macarons, this parlour should focus on selling the queen: kouign amann. For $3 this is one of the best bargains that I've found for this pastry. The caramelized crust, flaky layers, and sweet filling satisfies any doughy craving.

However, it seems others have found out about this slick deal, since it is sold out half the time that I try to purchase it. Another downside is that on some muggier days, I've seen fruit flies swarming around the desserts.

  5. Stopped here after a few hours of tanning In Central Park. Great location! Ran into this place and we were pleasantly surprised to find such good coffee, such a fun aesthetic and such delicious macarons. Stop by

  6. Macarons = 3.5 stars

After grabbing brunch at Jacob's Pickles, decided to make a pit stop for some macarons and headed to Milk afterwards (since it was across the street). Always in search of something sweet to end my meals with!

Ordered a box of 6 macarons to try out, all of them had the perfect soft consistency but the flavor was what distinguished them from other macaron shops.
+Hazelnut (2/5): Wasn't able to taste the hazelnut, it was very subtle and I expected it pack on a nutty punch.
+Pistachio (1/5): Super disappointed by the filling in this macaron, most places have not let me down when it comes to the standard pistachio flavor but the filling tasted artificial and extremely sweet.
+Dark Chocolate (5/5): Simple and pleasing to the sweet tooth as it should, the standard dark chocolate flavor you would expect. Sometimes simple is better.
+Tiramisu (4/5): In general this is always a favorite flavor of mine, recommend ordering one to try.
+Party Time (4/5): Normally I am not a fan of caramel dessert items, but with the combo of salted milk chocolate and dulce de leche, the two flavors blended well to make this one of the more favored items I liked from their selection.
+Creme Brulee (4/5): Spot on with their filling, exactly what you would expect in taste.

Overall I was mostly satisfied with their macarons, but it isn't at the top of my favorites list amongst the other shops I've tried. Worth giving a try if you're in the area and need to fulfill a sweet craving.

  7. Another great Sunday well spent in search of my favorite treat in the world… French Macarons. Though I have already tried Macaron Parlours macs and they are amazing, I have yet to visit this location until this past Sunday.

The store itself is quite small but has seating for you to enjoy your coffee and baked goodies. I ended up with a dozen macarons including all of my favorite flavors from candied bacon to creme brule. Dulce de leche is AMAZING and a must try. They are all delicate and delicious with huge flavors packed into such a small and cute cookie.

The staff here is pretty awesome, friendly and willing to help you pick out some of their very best flavors and recommendations. The lady behind the counter gave me some info on their cat parlour that I have been dying to check out being I am the crazy cat lady I was completely hooked on the idea of enjoying some macs with a cat on my lap =)

I thought it was really cool that they offer dog macarons. Yes I said it dog macarons. My friend picked up two to bring home to his pooch and I'm pretty sure they were made out of olives and his pup sure did enjoy them.

Can't wait to come back for some more!

  8. Slightly overrated. While I appreciate that the macaroons are large and inexpensive and come in popular, accessible flavors, they aren't really fresh, are full of air bubbles, collapse at first bite, and, worse yet, squirt all over the place. It would all sound quite naughty if it wasn't a… limp experience.

The other desserts and pastries they have here are merely OK too. Nevertheless, it's probably nice to have a place like this in the neighborhood so that you don't have to trek all the way to Ladurée or another proper establishment.
