I wanted to get cash back and I know the registers are not an ATM, but it's an option so why not use it…right?
Well, I was there twice in 2 weeks….first time the register would not process a cash back….tried 4 times…I wasn't sure if it was the cashier, so I let it go. They seemed confused with the new chip policy in the card machine. Soooo I came back a week later….same register and the issue hasn't been fixed. There were 3 of them. behind the counter and looked clueless….It seems like there needs to be training to be done with the new credit card swipes and to make sure everything is secure and working. I give up on this rite aid….thank goodness there's other stores like them around the area.
There are a great pharmacists and there aren't. This place has both. What drives me insane are the cashiers whether behind the rx desk or the front. Slow is generous. Helpful is generous. Store manager less than helpful. The parking is limited and the manager just shrugs when you complain that there are numerous people parking that are going for pizza and I've cream. Was in last week and they were working on reorganizing and restocking. There was no one practically in store but me and two other customers yet parking was atrocious. People were lines up waiting down the street. Why? Because the lot was full of people doing restocking, I asked the manager to please ask these employees to empty the lot and park on side streets. The side streets are not metered. This is Rutherford not Newark it is safe. He refused. In the meantime real customers either left or were seriously inconvenienced. Priscription counter – young male pharmacist 5 stars, older female pharmacist 4.5. All other pharmacists 3 Cashiers 2 Overall give a s$$$ of store manager -10 So a 2.
It's a chain pharmacy, so it's pretty standard when it comes to cleanliness and products. But overall, this is the WORST pharmacy/convenience store I go to. The only reason I do come here is because it's so close to where my family lives.
SERVICE: 1 star
The service couldn't be slower. DO NOT come in here if you are in a rush. Other than not having enough people at the counters, when the girl is at the counter she is like a snail. Either talking to the patrons (even though there is a huge line) or just not paying much attention when you're checking out. I can't stand it.
They constantly call for help at the front, and other workers mosey over to open up another counter. Terrible service.
