Passed by this food truck during my work lunch hour and noticed the interesting combination of mac and cheese and cheese steaks. They actually offer the two types of food and not a combination. So you can choose between mac and cheese or a cheese steak. Went with the cheese steak on this occassion and you can order a bunch of accompaniments. Hot or sweet peppers, provolone, cheddar, american, and a ample amount of steak on the sandwich. The steak was juicy and tender but did have a few cartilage pieces in them that without them could of been much better.
Had it with the provolone and sweet peppers and had a choice of sauces from bbq, chipotle mayo, honey mustard, ketchup, or mustard. It worked well with the chipotle mayo. I did enjoy the sandwich and it came hot and fresh. You will have some time waiting after ordering as they make it to order which i don't mind since it then comes fresh. You can then also order it NY style which would then be topped by your choice of pastrami, corn beef, or brisket. I had it with the pastrami but it got lost in the cheese steak and i didn't taste the pastrami at all.
The mac and cheese you can also accompany it with corn beef, pastrami, or brisket. Also you can top it with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. I'll have to try this type of order next time.
