  1. Somehow a cluster of Dunkin Donuts have popped up at various subway stations along the 7 line, this happens to be the one for 46th Street – Bliss Station.  If one ventures to 40th (previous stop), 52nd (right after), and 61st, there are DDs at each one.  It's sort of like Starbucks in Manhattan, but considerably less glorious and not at all a place to hang.  This DD location though happens to be the better of the bunch for it's efficient customer service, clean interior, and some actual tables where people can sit.

Unlike it's 42nd Street neighbor (yelp.com/biz/dunkin-donu…), this place doesn't sell ice cream cakes (as it's not a dual Baskin Robbins setup).  But they seem to have a pretty good selection of donuts.  I'll be honest – I'm not a fan of their donuts but that's not what I come here to get.  I usually shoot for one of their fruit smoothies and perhaps an occasional breakfast sandwich if I'm feeling up to it.

What helps is the friendly staff.  I haven't been rushed here and I haven't had to deal with major attitude just yet, but knowing how these things go, it's only a matter of time before I do.  They keep the place looking fairly nice and do a good job of minimizing lines if it gets busy.  And because of the sugary aroma of the donuts, this place almost always smells really good.  Too bad the donuts don't taste the way they smell.

  2. I don't drink coffee, but I came into this store on a Sunday morning to get some breakfast food for my friend and I. I ordered a sausage and egg on a English muffin and I got him a whole wheat bagel with cream cheese. My food was alright and since my friend didn't complain, the coffee and bagel must have been fine too. The wait was normal.
