This place is a 15 minute walk from my grandparents' house and serves as a great dessert after dinner. The service is friendly, the interior is clean and bright, and the flavors and toppings are plentiful.
I got the coffee and tart flavored frozen yogurt and I was not disappointed. There was actual coffee flavor and the tart wasn't too sour so it was a good balance with the sweet coffee. Yumm! My favorite toppings are the watermelon balls and cacao chips.
So glad to see a spic n span Red Mango on 18th ave! This location has more space, flavors, and seating than most locations.
I'm super excited that we finally have a Red Mango in Brooklyn! YAY!
This location is different than the other ones in the city. This is more of a self serve style.
Basically what you do is fill your cup with yogurt and toppings of your liking and they weigh it to charge you.
I think this is a bit better than having someone serve you since you can add how much of whatever it is that you like.
Getting dessert will be so much better now that we have this around us! yay!
Wow at Bensonhurst?! Great! Came here at night time and grabbed a small cup to get my cravings satisfied! I needed something sweet, cold and savory! Check! I ordered the mango mixed with strawberry yogurt and added fresh fruits, mochi, bubble bombs, Hershey chocolate with a waffle! What better way to end the night?! I love their variety of yogurt ice cream choices and toppings! Plus nice staffs!!
what! red mango made it to 18th ave in brooklyn???? this is the best news yet!!!! i wish they were closer to 86th street, but other than that, this place is awesome. it's a great addition to the neighborhood. i won't comment on the froyo because if you're a true red mango fan, you know how it tastes.
red mango – open up a location closer to bay ridge or 86st! you'll be sure to get more business from me!
Summer 2013: The new Red Mango is a popular new haunt! Families, single people, kids, high schoolers are bubbling inside because Bensonhurst finally has a hip place dedicated to cultured (chemically and stylistically) dairy. I can't lie: situated near a bus stop and subway station, the froyo calls to you and Red Mango is a great place to stop by and decompress.
Fall 2013: introduction of pastries (Danishes, muffins, etc.) with hand written index cards to label them inside the glass casing near the cash register. It's gonna get too cold for froyo. Most of the clientele are high schoolers who exploit the eager cashier for sample cups to try all the flavones of the rainbow.
Winter 2013: I came here for coffee out of curiosity, and like the yogurt, it is flavored and self-served. In this one thermos all by its lonesome. Hazelnut. Every time I pass by now, you see maybe one staff member watching the minutes go by and maybe a couple or two enjoying froyo.
This red mango here is awesome. They are open late and they also have Auntie Ann's pretzel. The place is clean and also self serve. I have a red mango rewards card and I love how they always give me credit towards my froyo. This red mango is like any other ones in the city with the exception that they have Auntie Ann's.
I'm so happy to see that a Red Mango finally opened up in my neighborhood: Bensonhurst!
I was on Yelp one night researching on new restaurants/food places that were opened in the area and found Red Mango opened near my boyfriend's house so I knew we just had to go and check it out and sure enough we did.
Customer Service is great here and love that they close late. This red mango slightly bigger than a few that I've been to – more seats, spacious, and more flavors/toppings. It's impeccably clean here and the toppings station is well organized. Oh yes..They have had a few different flavors since I've been here. My favorite flavor so far is Pomegranate. I didn't really like the white peach.
This Red Mango gets pretty packed on week nights and weekend evenings. Your best bet is to find a bench around the neighborhood to sit down, indulge, and chill out. So glad they opened just in time for this crazy heatwave weather.
