Grabbed a grandma slice from the Grandma's Brooklyn Pizza Truck yesterday for lunch. It was a medium thickness square slice about 5 inches across. For $3 it satisfied my small lunch requirement (paired with a smoothie). While not the best slice I've ever had (I'd argue the grandma slice at two boots in Grand Central is better) the crust was crisp and the sauce was solid. Also affordable relative to the options in the area.
The guys in the truck were nice, chatting it up with customers and were knowledgeable about their offerings for the day. I believe they take credit card which is a huge plus for a truck in this day.
Just had a couple slices from here. The andouille sausage slice was ridiculous.
If I was concerned about price I wouldn't live in Manhattan. If I wanted a plain slice I can go to two brothers. If you want something unique and incredibly taste try this truck.
If you still call your mom for money this may not be the place for you.
