The good news: they expanded! The bad news: they changed the name and I can't remember to what!
I've been coming to this smoothie establishment for at least a year now, as I find myself in Inwood fairly often. They have nearly every fruit imaginable, which you can order in any combination, with your choice of milk or sugar.
I also noticed they put cinnamon in smoothies, which adds a faint and tasty tang to the smoothies. I'm a fan of their strawberry banana smoothies. So creamy and delicious with condensed milk– it barely lasts a few blocks before it's gone.
They have empanadas which are good (not as good as Empanadas Monumental though), and sandwiches. I have yet to try a sandwich from them! I should.
Brotip: They also understand English. Don't be scared!
there were many people lined up in this little hole in the wall place. had the beef empanada. it had a nice flakey crust with a well seasoned beef filling. the menu isn't translated but you can get the gist of what's going on and what they've got.
will want to try a smoothie since I saw them making it with evaporated milk!
They got the usual array of fruits to make shakes as well as some veggies for the "extreme" Veggie shake drinker. But even better than that? their fried empanadas ! really good. Other than that a pretty decent spot.
