I can't really say anything that hasn't been said before, so I'll agree and keep it short.
Huge, chewy bagels that taste great. There always seems to be hot bagels straight from the oven. Lots of sandwich choices, including some great chicken salad. Definitely a legit place.
Nothing is more entertaining than enjoying your meal overhearing swagger talk and reminiscing about former lovers.
Apparently, these were G men lmao.
And they were seniors.
Just that alone would have propelled this bagel shop onto my top 5 bagel shop list.
But then again I did come here for the BAGELS not loud chatter.
I am normally skeptical of raving reviews and/or hype but this shop definitely came through on both accounts.
It does get busy but I came on a Saturday around 9am and it wasn't packed.
However, the line of people never ended with a slow trickle of people coming in after every 2 minutes.
I guess the secret about this shop is out…
It was also drizzling and people still trekked here for bagels.
CRAZY.
The customer service is FRIENDLY and straight to the point.
Just how I like it.
I ordered the Western Omelette on a roll and an everything toasted bagel with mixed berry cream cheese.
They were both AMAZING.
The Western Omelet was on point and so were the flavors without being overly salty.
WIN.
The mixed berry cream cheese really was perfect.
Perfectly balanced acidity, fresh cream cheese, and real berries.
The bagel was one of the best ones I've had in ANY borough of NYC.
So glad that it is just a nice 10 minute walk from me.
Well, before it started drizzling that is.
You can choose to dine in and they have seating enough for about 16.
Almost makes up for the early mornings wake ups.
Definately the largest seating capacity of any bagel spot within a ten mile radius. The bagels are fair in taste, but slightly overpriced. The service is relatively friendly but competent, all other items lack flavor and creativity.
The coffee is relatively enjoyable, kinda needs a bit more of a kick.
All the salads are made with too much mayonnaise, a sign of a business trying to maximize profits.
The grilled chicken is quite bland, un-seasoned, in-exciting, just UNeverything. Nothing special here that piques my interest at all, just items existing in the world of Boars Head booring.
Nice, friendly service and a local joint. Bagels are consistently great, however to my taste, a bit too chewy. But that's ok. They have mini bagels and flat bagels as well to change it up once in awhile. There is some decent seating, during the day, it appears that the geriatric crowd is dominant and many other who work/live in the area get their food to go.
Basic bagels.
Since Baker's Dozen is located out of Manhattan proper, I figured the prices would be a tad bit lower. Unfortunately, they weren't.
A whole wheat everything bagel ran me about $4.
It was average.
The bagels are good they have tons of cream cheese spreads, sandwiches, soups and breakfast and lunch items. I come here once in a blue on weekends when I am really in the mood for a bagel. They are a little pricey though. But that's to be expected in Kew gardens.
Incredible food. Bagels are too notch and the breakfast wraps/ bagel sandwich are great!!!!

Decent neighborhood deli but nothing actually worth getting that excited about. It's very hard to differentiate these types of places on cold sandwiches so prefer to judge based on hot (in my case, the reuben). I got pastrami rather than corned beef, which was kind of odd. The taste was pretty mediocre, but the price was fine at $7.50 for a ~10 inch hero. This place has 4.5* as of August 2016, which seems like way too much of an over-rating.
