Wow! An Organic food market in East Flatbush?! Am I dreaming? This was a wonderful find during a walk with grandpa. They have a great selection of fresh organic produce, vitamins and supplements, and various gluten free and dairy free options for those of us who need to abstain as well as amazing FRESH baked goodies chalk full of gluten and dairy for those who can freely partake (or who cheat often). They are small so they don't have the selection of a Whole Foods but close enough for me! I bet if business picks up they'll be able to increase their stock. One thing is for certain though, if I was a Brooklynite this would definitely be my go to grocery store.
Love this store! I found it yesterday and I was pretty surprised to say the least. The first thing I thought was 'An Organic market over here?' Pretty dope if you ask me. You can easily find natural items in an ital or rastafarian store in a predominantly caribbean neighborhood but I have never seen a market like this one pop up in an area like East Flatbush. The shop is beautiful, clean, has an excellent array of vegan products from wellness to food to beauty and the employees are very helpful. I am extremely impressed. There is even a section that sells warm food, total plus! As a new vegetarian I am so happy to have an option nearby that carries everything I need. Its like a mini Whole Foods! Love.
